I don't usually write reviews for the games I play, but this has to my exception.

This game is extraordinarily beautiful, meticulously crafted, and emotionally riveting. I have played a lot of narrative-based games, but Valhalla is by far my favorite. I never thought a pixel simulator game would make me cry! The characters are witty, charming, and down-to-earth. Each of their narratives is raw and blunt, which I love; absolutely no sugar-coating in this game.
My favorite part of this game has to be the protagonist, Jill. I related to her so much as a gay woman and as someone who feels lost within her own life. Getting to learn more about her and how she related her experiences to her clients was a highlight for me.
This game is hands-down one of the best games available on steam. It took me a long time to play it, but once it caught my eye, I was hooked. I hope to run another playthrough soon.

If you see this review, don't hesitate to give this game a try, especially if you are feeling insecure about yourself. This game gave me a lot of clarity about my life and where I want to go with my future. And who knows, one day, maybe I'll pick up bartending!
