Quite an interesting narrative experience. Puzzles are entertaining, and I never felt tired doing them. I'd recommend it if you like puzzling games or would like to be part of a relaxing journey about self discovery.

The narrative and the story are great, and the gameplay is fun. Mechanically it isn't too amazing, but it's entertaining enough that it enhances the experience of unraveling the misteries of the world you were put in. The ending is great, at least story-wise.

If you're looking for a deep narrative experience like The Last of Us or Undertale, you should probably try this out.

For such a beautiful game, it feels like the way forward is purposefully obfuscated. When in the West, I had to look up a playthrough because I didn't realize there was a path in a place I had cleared, because it was covered by trees. 1 of my 4 hours so far have been stuck in this kind of situations. It's a gorgeous place to explore, but I don't know how much longer I'll be willing to put up with this stuff.

Tried playing it in legendary without saving and loading each time something went wrong. Was slaughtered in the first mission like three times. Got used to it, was now able to pass it without deaths. Was slaughtered two missions later. Played 40 hours in legendary without ever getting out of early game.

I was doing great in a mission, about to finish it perfectly. Then, the enemy gets a critical in a shot with like 30% of even being successful. That happens with every single shot in that enemy turn and all but one of my soldiers is killed. I sigh, thinking that at least one of my guys will finish the mission and be safe. The guy panicks and dies the next turn. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAGE.

Currently savescumming my way through Heroic difficulty. Not even sorry.

Had a ton of fun though. It really felt like I was fighting against a technologically superior force in absolute disadvantage.

Big, really fun game. Dialogs and characters are well done, and the gameplay (DLCs included) can be 100+ hours without playing again the campaign. The lore is attractive and original, and the story has radical twists and a good developing pace. Definitely recommended. Even more so if you like achievements; the game has achievements about getting achievements.
