This game is lots of fun. Very well made shooter with lots of polish and attention to detail you don't usually see in this kind of game.

Very relaxing RPG with a focus on exploration. You spend time finding all the areas on a nonlinear map (looks like the map in Fez), finding secrets etc.

There are classes, skills and loot like in other RPGs. But no NPCs and no dialogue. So instead of having to do courier quests, you just walk around and see whats out there.

The graphics look dated, since the game was developed by one guy.

Adding difficulty levels could help make the game more challenging.
Even bosses and special enemies are dispatched easily.

Great skill-based coop shooter.
It is pretty hard when you play on "hard" difficulty, and you can tune the dedicated server to be even harder than that if you want a real challenge.

Also best AI I've seen in this type of game - the ai director concept is taken from left 4 dead i presume, while in most such games enemies just spawn either randomly or at preset points and run at player.

Unlockable skills and several difficulty levels to keep you replaying the campaign until you are a pro.

Pros:
- very high quality, polished game. Graphics, controls, balance - everything is great
- comletely free - and that means no microtransactions, unlike most "free" games

Cons:
- five years since launch, the player base is nonexistent so you cant play online
- not much fun playing alone

Awesome game. After 25 hours it feels like I barely scratched the surface. Finished it a couple times, but there is still many pods to alter game mechanics, strategies to try, characters to unlock etc.

And I only finished on "Too easy" difficulty. On "Easy" I still get massacred every time...

The game is very short and doesn't have much replay value.
Lack of incentive to replay/grind makes this otherwise fine game a waste.
Multiplayer is fun, but still gets boring after a couple hours.

In some more detail:
The game is very short, I reckon I could finish it in singleplayer in less than 10 hours if I cared to.
It is designed for grinding/replaying levels on higher difficulty, but there is just not much to gain by replaying them.
The only things that you gain from replays are gold and "achievements/perks". This gets boring very soon.
Gold is useless once you have upgraded the single relic that is most useful ("Invisibility Banjo" for me)
Also there are two relic slots but not much point in using two relics as they use the same resource and "Invisibility Banjo" is just better than everything else.
