To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Fallout: New Vegas. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid perception or intelligence, most of the jokes will go over a typical player's head. There's also Caesar's authoritarian outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Georg Hegel literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these politics, to realise that they're not just based- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Fallout: New Vegas truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in NCR troopers' existential catchphrase "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter," which itself is a cryptic reference to the bleak themes of post-nuclear war.
