Good with friends, game has improved and the devs are working on it to make it better.

Game can be fun for just doing every so often, you do not have to stress on this game, just sit back and relax with it :)

Well after not long playing this game, I can tell what type of game it is.

Pro:
I got this game for FREE (as it is basically worthless).

Cons:
Controls are not responsive enough for a playformer.
Hit boxes are just way off and are larger than some of the enemies.
Loading times are very long for such a simple game.
Music is load and annoying (turn it down with Windows Volume Mixer (MUTE IT REALLY)).

Just going to idle for the cards, got the game for free so now I will earn something from this pile of junk for leaving it on when I am on my PC.

I would recommend this game to people who want a nice little puzzle to just play away at every few days or so on. Nice audio and visual style along with good gameplay. It would have been nice if new gameplay mechanics were introduced throughout the game but I can live without it.

I bought this game when it was on sale which is what I would recommend for people to do. But I would for sure recommend it :)

What to say about 8BitBoy.....it fails on some of the basic things you need for a platformer.

Controls: These feel very loose and at times unresponsive, you are trying to make a pin point jump onto a moving platform and for the controls to fail you is just not fair, if you fail the jump through lack of skill, then that's fine, but it is not fair to poor controls.

Movement: This is just so wrong in many ways, you would only get to know what I am talking about if you played the game. But when you run, you carry far too much momentum and don't stop where you want to (which the dev could fix) but it just doesn't have the feel of the old platformer games (which the dev says inspired this game).

Jumping: The jumping in this game is just off, you think you would have to run further to get enough speed to jump further/higher right? wrong. You seem to have to jump almost as soon as you start running or else you wont make certain jumps, which is just stupid.

Overall: I would not recommend this game to anyone, old school platform lovers, people wanting to try a platformer for the first time etc etc. Just do NOT buy this, I would get a refund but I got this for free so I do not have to worry about that.

Save yourself money and disappointment, do not get this game.

I bought this game only because I had 19p in my steam wallet with nothing to use it on. I looked for cheap games and seen this one, dont let the price fool you. This game is worth far more than the small price and will keep you playing for a good while.

Graphically the game looks great. I really like the art style in the game and it ran smoothly.

I dont know if it was me, but the puzzles were kind of on the easy side with only a couple giving me a challenge, regardless of that, the game is still lots of fun.

I have yet to play the coop stages, but I have got a friend to buy it as well, so that will be done soon :)

If you like Portal, then you will love this and in many ways I found this better than Portal.

This game is just pure all out FUN! Loaded the game up for the first time and played with friends with ease, went on to play the game for almost 2 hours. The game has some really fun team based games (Ice Hockey, Basketball etc) as well as some good race tracks and battle areanas.

If you want a game that is as fun as Mario Kart but that you can play with friends on the PC, this is totally the game to get, I have tried a good amount of these types of games and this one is by FAR the best out there.

Go buy this game and have fun with it.
