Really enjoyed the open world flow and the ship customization. I liked the freedom of being a good guy or also choosing to be the evil one and just destroy everything if you wanted as well.

Early Access Review
47 hours in just 3-4 days...

This game is amazing. The mechanics, the music and ambience, the terror of being ambushed by a powerful enemy... That satisfaction of that next level of "tech" you unlock. It's all there, and this is EA! Can't wait to see where Valheim goes.

Update: Home and Hearth is amazing. The way the Irongate team is weaving in new mechanics with things you do within the game is phenomenal! Bring on the Mistlands!!!

Update: FISHING OVERHAUL! :D

The passion that Knucklecracker brings to his games are clear. Each one is a small masterpiece that he has iterated on and put its own spin on. New units, new 3D engine, new mechanics. It's amazing. If you enjoy tower defenses and RTS games, you must try CW4. At a minimum go download the free demo and go get a taste, I promise you won't regret it!

Only issue I have with CW4 is a graphical stutter on my desktop rig. The game is running flawlessly on my laptop and I have been enjoying it to the fullest on there while I play on my desktop occasionally to work with Knucklecracker to try and narrow down the issue so that it can hopefully be fixed and pushed to the next build. The only problem is with limited time I spend too much of it on the laptop to do more research!

If the full game continues to expand on the experience of the "prologue" with an engaging and unique story, more tech and upgrades while continuing to up the challenge, I know this game will be a hit. Download and play now, feel free to take your time taking down the nests so that you can research new things and play with more tech! :D

Quick Edit, if the Devs are reading, coop with appropriately increased difficulty/scaling would be AMAZING!

Update: So stoked to hear that COOP is indeed coming after launch sometime, and the content just looks better and better! Shall we have an update to the prologue before release?

A simple yet deep and very flexible RTS/Tower Defense game. You can play every map in multiple ways, and I thoroughly enjoy employing different strategies across different maps!

The only thing I miss are the sounds of your infantry and/or villagers dying, especially when you're fighting cavalry, it helps to know when your units are dropping when it's hard to see among the rabble!

Other than this, loving the new graphics, the zoom, and especially the new queuing system, well done!

An absolutely GORGEOUS game! The flora, the fauna, the different biomes... Every new thing I find blows me away. As a scuba diver, this game really scratches the itch of the first few dives that you make, feeling purely amazed and yet terrified as to what lies in the deep blue beyond your vision range all at the same time. I never thought I would take so much joy in finding new species of creatures and plant life and trying to scan them to find out their details. Maybe I'm much more of an explorer/scientist than I once thought... There is no other game like Subnautica, so if you're looking for something different, this is definitely it!

Pros:
- Gorgeous environments and creatures.
- Simple crafting system that breaks down all that you need to help you advance down the current tech tree.
- Emphasis on exploring, building and surviving rather than "kill all the things." Even many of the predators are beautiful and I feel bad if I have to take one down.
- Futuristic sound score that makes you feel on a truly alien world and really adds to the "science" atmosphere, while also providing a sense of foreboding when night falls and you can see even less...
- Absolutely terrifying moments of discovering new creatures that want to drive you off or devour you. You will never forget the first time you hear a Sea Reaper scream....
- The feeling of helplessness when you are < 10 feet from making it back to your sub at 400 meters below the surface and drown and end up having to go all the way back to get it...
- AWESOME in-game feedback menu that takes a screenshot for you and allows you to send things off instantly to the devs!
- Multiple game play modes, including hardcore for those who are into that!
- A yet unfinished story that has already sucked me in between the things in the environment and then the logs I have found exploring, I can't wait for the next update!

Cons:
- Some FPS drop when a new portion of the world generates, only lasts a few seconds at most for me.
- Some model/graphical glitches now and then, I just make sure to take the time to send it in to the devs with the sweet in-game feedback system!

10/10

Update: The game has only continued to grow and get better. Adding balance tweaks, new content, and almost fully fleshing out the engrossing story. The Devs are in the final stages and have been heavily optimizing the game, making pop-ins and bad frame-rates most a thing of the past. I can't wait for the game to be released so I can start a new play-through to completion and live the amazing story and feel the emotions of the ending all over again!

Play this game, you will NOT regret it! ****High Fives Cute Fish!****

Update 2: Played through again after full completion... Oh the feels. I am so excited for the expansion and what it holds. I cannot recommend this game highly enough!

Supreme Commander: FA Where does one begin?

Born as a spiritual successor to Chris Taylor's revolutionary RTS Total Annihilation, Supreme Commander builds on TA's original formula and simply makes everything better. Tech levels where weaponry gets more powerful, and expensive. Land, Air, and Naval units to attack your enemies from all sides. Being able to que up units and have them set to go to points and attack, patrol, or be air-lifted to places on the map, this game simply does it all for an RTS. Gorgeous graphics, awesome effects, and a great sound score round it out. If you are a fan of the RTS genre, this is simply a MUST HAVE/PLAY!

The only flaw I can find with the game is that once you have four players with around ~750 units each, the game has to slow down to continue to keep things smooth. I would love to see something where it could be optimized to be able to take advantage of today's powerful multi-core processors to be able to allow thousands of units to multiple players and render them smoothly in real time.

9.999/10
