Play a bard, and anytime you see two or more people gathered start performing.

Better yet, give your entire party the Actor feat and have them all join in on the festivities! You will not be disappointed.

Its a decent crafting game with "survival" mechanics combined with a "numbers go up", but it seriously lacks polish, identity and engagement.

You follow the standard progression in a crafter game where you gather things to build things to unlock new things all the while making the numbers go up faster (Terraform Rating). The dissonance happens when you realize the interconnected systems are not really connected at all and just contribute to an abstracted terraforming score. Improvements _do_ unlock in the different tech-trees, but the overall rating is still the most important thing. Combine this with things like summoning huge meteors _into your base_ which does nothing more harmful than create some debris you cannot walk through, isolated rooms being able to supply you with oxygen (in fact, you don't really need to produce oxygen at all, it is better and more convenient to build a "hut" than carry a bottle of O2), drawn out late-game and uninspiring lore; and you end up with a mediocre game.

That said, I do understand why the abstractions were made and I overall had my fun with the game. If this is your genre you will likely have decent time with it while watching the local area of the planet get terraformed, but it is not an excellent game. Come into this game with open eyes and you can have a good time with it. Expect brilliancy and you will be sorely dissapointed.

A nice puzzle game where you try to figure out what a glyph means in different languages. Mostly an enjoyable experience, not very hard though there are a few puzzles which are quite obtuse. Worth picking up if you like puzzle games.

I ponder the Orb!

It is Blue

I ponder the orb to make Purple, the Purple makes Pink. I use the Pink to make more Purple which I use to make more Pink! This is the first step of pondering everything that has been, what will be and what is.

Ponder the Orb some more and you too may Ponder the existance of It!

(To be honest, I have NO idea what is going on, I'm just clicking buttons, but this is the GREATEST game to ever exist!)

Pretty fun mindless game. Story is average and falls a bit flat during the endgame, but still servicable. Still great fun flying around and blasting enemies in space.

Very short, but very good. A unique take on puzzle-games.

Not a bad game, but it suffers from being the sequel to a GREAT game.

- Story is average at best and does not really support the core gameplay.
- Predators are more annoying with their screams than dangerous.
- Leviathans are more comical than terrifying.
- Land gameplay was the worst part of the first game. It is not any better in this, but you spend significantly more time on land.
- The Finale in the first game was bad. This time it's worse and more dragged out with even more MacGuffins.

Only thing they improved on from the first game was base building: There are more things to fill your base with.

Do yourself a favor and get the first one instead and play that. If you still crave more you can play this, but know that it will be a lessened experience.

It's a good game, but not a great game.

There is a lot of love in this game. Moments that play with your feelings, tugging at your heartstrings, making you question your decision. There are times when you start off with a quickhack, follow up with a stealth takedown and it all goes to ♥♥♥♥ so you have to whip out that revolver to pop those two clowns storming you right before that big melee dude rushes you so you have to draw your blade and fend him off.

And yet, it doesn't really mesh well. All the great things are just pieces from different puzzles which never truly comes together. Where in previous games CDPR brought a world to life, here they barely give a jolt to the flatlined Night City. There are people in the streets, but you never care about them because instead of being immersive, they bring you right out with their janky behaviour, and don't get me started on driving sessions (in particular when you're a passenger). I don't feel as if Night City is alive! And knowing that CDPR has created one of the most alive cities in gaming before makes it hurt even more!

Then we move on to mechanics. It's a looter shooter, but the numbers mean nothing (There is a pistol which fires 17 times a second, but it has only 9 rounds in the magazine yet has higher DPS than anything else at that point). Cyber Implants are kinda cool, but what the heck is a Zandevistan? A Berserker? Who knows, but you'll get upgrades for them! It's hidden way in there. Try to find the right place to assign them because the game won't!

So. why would I still recommend it? Because the intro mission was awesome! It did so many cool things, had a good (by game standards) story and touched upon those aforementioned heartstrings. Then if you stick with it it's actually quite alright and an enjoyable ride, just skip most sidegigs alright?
