PC finally has Mario Kart

this looks like fun but it performs like ♥♥♥♥ on modern hardware...

I swear to god I played games like this ON PC around 2004-2006, seeing this and playing it just feels like a fever dream. Even the music resembles the fun obscure early/mid 2000s free/abandonware platformers that came out on PC but never broke through with ps1-like graphics. After decades I can finally play a game like this again, it's no longer a dream but a reality.
Makes me feel like I'm a kid again downloading and playing a free early 2000s PC platformer from the internet.

Super fun with friends, don't play this alone.

The tank controls suck.

this should be an online MMORPG where u can fight other people with the spells you learned and go on dungeon quests together etc, not a lonely singler-player experience, the world is beautiful though. A-lot of potential but needs to be explored further, needs more balls, cahones, more ambition and drive, this is too safe and too scared, go online multiplayer on the next one.
If I'm gonna play a singleplayer harry potter game I might as well just play The Order of The Phoenix which came out in 2007 and is a better game than this IMO.

When will they stop recycling green hill in 2D sonic games? It's not hard to be creative.

Looks like they watched some "SEGA HIRE THIS MAN!!" videos and decided to make a game in that style.

Jokes aside it's a very good game and very relaxing, very different from any previous sonic game so don't come with any expectations, be prepared for a different experience.

HOWEVER, if you're new to Sonic or platformers in general, I WOULD NOT recommend starting with Sonic Frontiers, it's very experimental and I wouldn't exactly call it a platformer, start with Sonic Adventure 1/2, Sonic Colors or Sonic Generations instead to get a feel for what a real platformer/sonic game feels like.

This specific style is probably a one-off that will never be explored again. Even though I really enjoyed it, it adds a "relaxing" element to these games that I never felt before.

This game is great, it's not better than 2, but it's engaging and fun, it's a bit short, but so is resident evil 2, it's more about the quality over the quantity.
