Just so I can hear the words: "I love you" and feel something. Nowadays I mope around thinking of what if my ex was not brainwashed by the CCP. I miss her vexing gaze that encapsulates my heart and makes me yearn to delve deeper into those eyes. Now those eyes are replaces by a few drawn circles that blink awkwardly every few seconds. But this is okay. For what is life during the pandemic? I dare not ponder of what can be when I have what has already been. Have you ever heard the tragedy of John's sanity? I thought not it's not something he would tell you about. John's sanity was of normality prior to the virus from WUHAN, CHINA. He had a bright smile and an even brighter future as a janitor. The only thing he was afraid of was some bat soup virus. Which, of course eventually came. One day some poor sod decided to eat bat soup and contract covid. It was tragic. Ironic, the only thing he feared became his reality.
