As a former Tarkov player, I was skeptical about another looter shooter, especially with the new Unheard DLC drama. Starting up this game, I was quite surprised that at how well implemented all of the features were, with it being Early Access. Unlike the slow lobbying system of Tarkov, where it can take 15+ minutes to find a game, GZW has done well with getting you into a game and playing quickly. I'm hoping the developers optimize the game a little more, as I'm getting about 60fps and there are frequent stutters when loading in portions of the game.

GZW does a good job at innovating on the in-menu stash and vendor trading system by allowing you to do all of this from your "Home base" within the FPS aspect of the game. Servers can have a max of 48 players, unlike its looter shooter predecessors, which can lead to chaotic and fun battles. Overall I recommend trying this game.

As of 4 March 2021, I think it's a really fun arcade-y roguelite game that could probably stand to have a price decrease to $5. The content that exists currently is fun and varied, and I look forward to seeing what other items and symbols are added to increase synergization.

After playing for about 12 hours, I've come to the verdict that I do not recommend this game in its current state. Now that I have played for 12 hours, I cannot request a refund so I will give my honest opinion on the game.

Coming straight from Tarkov and other shooter games, and being inexperienced in Rust, I've found that this game has too little reward with way too much risk, among a plethora of other issues.

- Solo players shouldn't even play this game
- Aiming and movement is extremely clunky
- Guns seemingly have a mind of their own, sometimes taking 3 shots to kill an unarmored player, sometimes only 1 shot
- AI also has aimbot accuracy, killing you in 1 shot after you just killed 7 NPCs with ease
- Running Simulator...good luck getting anywhere without spending 5 minutes auto-running just to die as soon as you reach your destination
- Server Resets deleted any loot I had in my base, effectively making the looting aspect pointless
- The safezone system can be exploited extremely easily by just waiting right outside and murdering players
- 3rd person view is a broken system inherently, allowing you to peek behind corners without other players knowing you are there

Among other things, this is why the game is currently not fun nor is it a good game. I do not recommend the game in its current state, as it needs a ton of reworking.
