Early Access Review
I've been playing this game for years. I tried the VR recently on Valve Index before the update, and it wasn't good. Since the patch (Dec 10, 2019), the VR in Valve Index is awesome. It's fun to pick a star, look at the planets, go to one that's interesting, go to one of the moons or asteroids and land on the surface. You can look up and see the stars and the planets and you feel like you're standing there. And you can do this really quickly. Apart from that, even outside of VR, Space Engine is one of those beautiful games that gives you some perspective of your place in the universe. If you ever feel like you had a bad day, go into Space Engine and look at how none of your day matters in the face of endless galaxies of stars and planets. The universe is larger than comprehension, but Space Engine helps.

What hasn't already been said about this game. I will say that I was a holdout because I'm definitely NOT one of those Dance Dance Revolution types. But this game kicks butt. You have to go down the road of modding the game in order to get more songs. And coming from someone who has modded all of the moddable games in my library, I will say that it's not user friendly at this point. I think that's because I tried to modify version 1.6.0 right after the update came out and so lots of the software necessary for modding wasn't updated yet. So the instructions said to do one thing and you're all set, but when I did it, nothing worked. I finally figured out that I had to wait a little longer for the modding software to be updated and now I have access to a lot more songs.

Early Access Review
This is so early access that I can't recommend it. Button graphics are missing, a lot of the VR videos don't show up as VR, but only show up in theater view. Navigation is horrible and you can't really use a mouse, you have to use the controller. So searching for videos is a PITA since you can't use the keyboard and the controller input for typing is really annoying.

Amazing game when it worked. I recently reinstalled the game and now it doesn't work. I've tried moving the install folder to the C drive, I've tried running in offline mode using command line switches in a shortcut and in the Steam launcher, running as an administrator, switching Steam and UPlay to offline mode and then launching, but the game never starts. Really disappointed.

Got stuck trying to figure out the mystery. And honestly, the game wasn't engaging enough for me to get myself unstuck. They need to balance the mystery with revealing the mystery better. A few hours of "What is this...hint hint..." isn't cute anymore. Stopped playing after 2 hours. Went back to it a few times and just got frustrated and left and haven't played since.

Take2 and Rockstar Games have turned their backs on their most important customers, the modding community. Their ham fisted approach banning all modding won't protect their online community from hackers. It will only serve to remove the joy that tens of thousands of people gain from using GTA V as a platform for their creativity. There is an obvious solution to fighting hackers ruining the online economy of GTA, remove the online economy. Make the game a sandbox and free for all and let this game run its course. Or pinch your last penny from a truly alienated fan base whom will no longer stand for your exploitation.
