I have looked forward to this game for a very long time. Unfortunately it launched in a very rough state. Honestly very disappointed in that. It has a ton of great ideas and features if they ever actually function. The AI doesn't work, especially as you get a larger population they begin to just get stuck and loop constantly never doing their tasks which can easily bring your entire economy/town to a halt.

The most anticipated feature was the combat but I can't even really get to test it out because of all the issues with even getting the weapons produced to arm my citizens. AI starts off with huge armies and just rolls over the map claiming everything. Nothing the player can do about it. Unless that was the intention...an utterly hopeless fight, it needs a lot of work to even be playable. I just turned off those features for now. Which is frustrating to say the least.

I'd still recommend people check it out, but don't expect perfection for a long time. Unless Slavic uses the money from the sales to actually get a team in to fix the issues it will probably be ages before it's actually fixed. Maybe I can play this in 2034!

Game has potential. Devs need to figure out some better systems then infinitely spawning weak enemies to come up with a 'challenge'. It doesn't make for fun gameplay, it just makes it annoying to do things.

Edit: After some time getting frustrated and bored with this game so might just wait for later patches. Devs are going backwards. Players find ways to lessen the grind, they nerf it rather then recognize the issue. Players find a faster way to move, they nerf it. Players find a strong build, they nerf it....

Why are you attacking player fun when your game is still full of bugs? The last thing on your mind right now should be making sure Bob Bobson doesn't get across the map .05 seconds faster. When you can litterally dig under a wall or climb up any cliff and skip just about anything in the game if you so wish...
They nerfed healing aura, which many players took because spamming bandages and healing potions is a lame way to play any game... If anything they should have looked for ways to IMPROVE healing not hinder it.

The game has potential but right now the devs seem confused and directionless. Hopefully they can get back on the right track.

Riddled with bugs...basically every bug from vanilla ark returned as well as many more. Game stability is terrible. "early access" is true to it's word...feels more like an early alpha.

Wildcard really needs to issue a public apology for the state of this game. This should be free to play demo at best.

Bought this game soley because it's a Bethesda game...Loved the Fallout and ES series so figured I'd try it....this is anyting but that.

-Story is weak, characters feel generic and meaningless. Don't even remember their names and just finished playing. The best thing about past bethesda games was the environmental story telling, and that is practically non existent in this game. Considering it's all generated content outside of a few story locations. I feel no desire to explore anything because it's all just open empty space (no, not that kind of space)

-The outpost building is pathetic. I had mods in skyrim with more depth and control. The snapping system they chose to go with is....aggravating, to say the least. To make matters worse, there seems to be some bugged out ship that keeps landing next to where I built...it lands/takes off after about 20-30 seconds and just infinitely loops. These GIANT storage crates, you know the ones you could probably fit 10-20 of your characters in? Well they hold less then what you can carry in your pockets...Genius!

I'd try to get a refund but I'm sure I'm too far into it now. Besides I figure eventually modders will come along and salvage this wreck. Just makes me second guess my eagerness for future Bethesda titles. If this is what we are going to get.

Does not even work..followed multiple guides online but steam VR wont launch any vr games to my headset. They launch on my laptop even when launched from the headset.

Another game I try to play a single player game and some reason requires an internet connection..great start. What is the internet connection for? Steam cloud saves? Would make sense if they actually worked...but so far every time I try to load a steam cloud save it gives me errors and reverts save progress.
After 3 failed installs and the cloud errors, I just gave up and put in for a refund. I know this game is "early access" but that is no excuse for not even running or installing properly.

The idea is neat....too bad it's over complicated and a mess of random controls and no information. You absolutely are REQUIRED to have sources of information to play this game...not sure what the developers were thinking with this. Virtually nothing besides basic controls is explained. None of the complex navigation, none of the systems, nothing. Only get this game if you are truly a "space nerd" and enjoy clicking to "frame shift" (Think Hyperspace) from place to place.

Still starting out but this game is going to be amazing...even if you only play on the peacefull mode it's a great looking survival game.

I finally got this after years of hearing people rant about how great it was....clearly those people were just fans of the previous game and didnt care how bad it really is. Granted it looks great, but that is about it. The controls are terrible. They changed constantly depending on completely random things. The AI is terrible..enemies can headshot you from a mile away with a fricken revolver. No matter what horse you get, they not only can keep up with you but fly past you..so it's pointless to upgrade anything. The story so far has been extreemly underwhelming....feels extremely generic. If you have ever watched any western show involving outlaws you probably already have seen this story.

If you want a game where you can just ride around a nice looking world on horse back, this is a good game....for everyone else, don't bother.

Does not live up to the hype...I've repeatedly heard how great of a racing game Forza series is so finally tried it and it is...terribly generic. Looks nice I suppose and really I only got it to occasionally drive around and pass time and for my nephew to play when he's visiting and it's bad weather, but...yeah. The 'campaign' is just a bunch of generic "drive here" missions with no life to them. The cars don't feel great to drive...some of them you just tap the breaks and they go spinning out of control. I also unlocked like 30 cars just for getting the game...not sure why. Nephew loves it of course, but I feel like I am cheating since I started with cars with basically max stats.
