Very enjoyable, and well paced for a mid-length idler.

You typically just keep pushing production and energy, but scaling costs can encourage you to make interesting decisions at times. The game feels fairly well tuned in terms of balance and pacing.

Very much looking forward to new updates, though I still feel like I'm early-mid game after ~5 days.

I rarely have the patience to play a single game more than 10 hours. And yet I have somehow loved taking my time in this one. Over 130 hours played with plenty more to go. Truly the best open world WRPG ever made.

Addictive loop. Beautiful interface. Good level of active and idle play. I believe I'm currently in Chapter 2, but I really look forward to making my way to the end of the current conitent over the course of the following weeks/months.

- Negative mouse acceleration
- Framerate plummets when turning the camera
- Camera sensitivity is tied to framerate

This is not what I expect from a remaster.

Submitted a refund request.

Terrible. Click for 15 minutes and then you're done the game with 100% of achievements. Don't waste your time.

This is life changing for me. Nothing has motivated me more to get back into shape and to push myself. I have this paired with my Bluetooth heartrate monitor and the immediate feedback helps me push harder. Why play Expert in Beat Saber when I can bump my heartrate another 40bpm while playing Expert+? Now with an added season system to motivate me and an Apple Watch companion app, I'm even more motivated.

This is an absolute necessity if you're looking to use VR as an fitness device.

As a veteran of Quake/TFC/CS skill jumping, Hot Lava offers an enticing prospect. This feels like a lost forgotten genre of game that I have been longing for.

I'm still early, and while I am enjoying myself and can't pass up the chance to play a proper skill jump game, I do have a few complaints.

First off, the aesthetics are fairly busy and the readability of the levels suffer.

Second, and my main gripe with the game, is that the movement that we have learned for years of skill jumping in Quake based games is thrown out the window. While you are encouraged to strafe in the air to gain momentum, strafing actually makes you move left/right in the air. This has never been the case in any Quake based game. Strafing should be used as a movement modifier while allowing your mouse to do the movement. Due to this little movement quirk, effortlessly weaving throughout a level ends up feeling rather clunky.

I'll keep at it, but I feel like this concept could be polished further.
