If you play fairly quickly you can play through all the content in about 10 hours in what is out now. The combat isn't that hard, and losing isn't game over either. The story continues even if you lose and will adapt, so if you lose try your best to live with it for an organic experience. You start out quite weak but towards the end it is quite hard to lose any of the fights. I hear with this style of game that is common in year 1 and the difficulty spikes in years 2 and 3 which arent out yet, so i wont hold it against them if thats the case. Overall, pretty fun game, the story isn't amazing or anything but the way it adapts to your actions is cool and feels natural. Characters could use more development. There is an english translation mod for this game btw.

Active dev team that updates usually about once a week. Biggest complaint is that large scale combat is very laggy and starts to break down when its larger than 2v2.

Been playing this game for over 10 years. VERY fun, tons of ways to play. CO OP story campaigns are available in the add ons section and are super fun. VS is also a lot of fun as well

Just finished the first act and gotta say this game is pretty fun. The atmosphere IMO isnt as great as the first one but the characters are better and the storyline is shaping up to be a lot better as well. When I first started playing I didn't like it at all but its getting better as it goes on and now i'm excited to get on to Act 2. Tactician mode is fairly challenging and requires you to use everything at your disposal most fights.

Pros:
Good combat, fixes most of the issues from the first one
Good companions (Lohse 4 lyfe)
Interesting weapons that for the most part have different looks
Lots of side quests to fill up your time

Cons:
Some minor bug issues like you can sneak attack most enemies to death if you feel like it and they wont ever react
The enemy does not seem to be bothered by things that affect you and there is some RNG to effects that always seem to screw you over

Fairly fun game. I see a lot of people saying that its P2W but I dont really see how. Sure you can spend money but leveling at this point is crazy easy. Even if someone has better gear than you, its skill based combat and blocking so if you are better than them you'll win anyways.

Pros:

Maps are cool same with the setting
Immersion is nice

Cons:
Translation isnt that good
Laggy sometimes
Poorly optimized
Matches are too short.

Overall I'd say its really fun and I'd give it 7.6 out of 10.

Over a thousand hours poured into the game. I decided its time to say exactly why I've spent this much time playing it.

Warband is a game that attempts many things, being a medieval combat sim, a sandbox, a RPG of sorts, and much more. It has many strengths and a few weaknesses.

PROS:
Strong modding community. There are hundreds of innovative and fun mods that reall revamp the game and add new life to it each time you play.(To name a few, Blood and Steel, A New Dawn, cRPG(this ones MP), Perisnio, and thats not even scratching the surface).

Infinite replay value. Each time you replay you can do something completly new and different

The melee combat is somewhat difficult to learn but once you do its innovative and always fun

Multiplayer in just native is somewhat boring, but there are a few mods that add tons of new stuff. Like Persistent World which makes it sort of like an MMO, cRPG which adds consistent characters, and I'm sure there are a few more.

CONS:
Lack of things to do in Native gets a bit boring.

Ranged in base game and most mods is very overpowered.
