As a fan of risk of rain 2, I get to experience the prequel in all of its glory, with gorgeous sprite work and incredible soundtrack by Chris Christoudoulou (as usual) the game will prove a challenging but fun experience. And nothing feels better than the feeling of progress despite your numerous attempts.

Unfortunate to see a project of passion get content removed for very little reason. Not only that, they are removing content from the art book that BECAME paid later as DLC. They also removed a narrator, an important aspect of big band's story, and more. Both original devs are gone and this just further diminishes any hope I had in the future of skullgirls.

I cannot recommend the game in good faith when there is no guarantee they will further remove and censor things in the future.

On your first couple dozen hours the game is fun, you learn how to play and what your vehicle does, there's nothing quite like shooting your enemies from afar and hitting them for a one hit kill or an intense dogfight near the ground, I won't deny that. However, as time goes on, all the fun starts to get sucked away on your quest to unlock more vehicles, the grind increases and soon you will find that the anger and frustration your deaths brings far outweighs the moments where you actually have fun.

I spent a lot of time on this game and I still didn't go past rank VI, if you are free to play, they will always try to make you buy premium to make the grind easier but that very scummy practice is what made me quit. They constantly shafted free to play players by reducing rewards, I even heard that some time back they removed RP gain from getting hit so grinding heavy tanks must be even more painful. There are better games out there, don't waste your time on this one like I did.

Don't be fooled by my increased hour count since the review, the game is still ass.

Incredible replayability, simple but excellent visuals, superb soundtrack and a play-how-you-want game. Definitely worth your time.

Otimo jogo, divertido, estratégico e com varios achievements e cartas, uma pena que é curto.
Great game, fun, strategic, and with various achievements and cards, it's a shame that it is so quick to finish.

EDIT: This goes above anything else, the review made below is just a showcase of times long gone now. Valve has done nothing to fix the bot problem, and the game has suffered greatly from it. I have been playing the game less and less since the past couple years and every time I join a casual server after a few weeks to months break, it just saddens me, because bots will be there plaguing the server. Something needs to be done.

I love this game, even after almost 2000 hours there is always something new, something you can improve on, something you haven't tried before. Those qualities keep the game fresh, so even if you get bored of it, come some time later and it will feel like a new experience again. Don't quit in the first 10 minutes, experiment with it, go to the wacky community servers, go to a training server, try MvM, just go wild and find your own way.
