Bobbies are enforcers that serve as the peacekeepers of many places. Where places did not need any further escalation, they are present there just in place. Simply put; they're just guards that do their jobs.

As communities later on became more conformed and more hierarchical, Bobbies were ordered to become more relentless as a result. Originally only armed with just a baton, they were later also armed with a riot shield when riots became more turbulent.

Even now, their roles have expanded to being an essential force that serves as guards that put rulebreakers in their place.
