It's not ready yet. The constant disconnects, teleporting issues where you're stuck in the terrain and can't get out (that has been going on for months), and completely frustrating inability to team consistently is this games downfall. It's a game that could be great if it was stable. Unfortunately, for many, it's hit and miss. I've attempted playing on my local PC. On GeForce now, and through a separate hosting platform (Shadow) and all of them have issues.

It can't be my connection here, when I offload my game to other PCs hosting my game, like on Shadow, it shows my connection is still strong when Wolcen disconnects. I've also had, on several occasions, the game just lock up entirely. Not sure what caused it. If you are really looking for an ARPG, that is a different, less polished version of something like Path of Exile, you have it right here, but for what they are selling it for, it isn't worth the frustration.

It won't be something you write a letter home about, but on a decent sale, Hypergun can keep you entertained for hours. You can unlock new classes, and try and make your way to the end. Enemies can get repetitive, and weapons could use a boost a bit, and - hey - you should be able to sell the attachments you don't want for bits or hypercoins or something during the simulation, but when it comes to a fun diversion in between other games you play, Hypergun is a pretty solid choice.

Early Access Review
Next Up Hero is an amazingly fun action title that requires some practice to be successful at. I read through some of the early reviews, and noticed that people were complaining that the game is too hard on the darkness levels, or that some of the enemies are harder to beat. As this game is currently in Early Access, Digital Continue has listened to that feedback, and they've added a lot of changes to lessen that learning curve.

The combat is one of the places this game really shines, the different characters all have unique playstyles to them, and finding a character that resonates with you isn't very hard.

The Echo system in its current state isn't really ideal for multiplayer, but they have teased that full co-op will be added soon. As much as I enjoy the game, and working with the community to beat the Champions trials, which are Insane level missions that require community involvement to complete, I've been more impressed with how involved the development team has been with the community.

It's not all roses, as no game truly is, I still feel like the game needs better character development, including progression, more skins for customization, and a better end game rewards system would really make this game spectacular.

Endless Legend is a great game -- its a fun RTS style game similar to Civilization and it really is great, if you can get it to run well without crashing. If you spend any time doing research on this game you'll notice that crashes happen ALL the time with a lot of people that run this game.

I run into crashes at least once every hour or so.. and sometimes, when I exit the game properly, it crashes upon loading my save games. It doesn't matter if they're autosaves or if I save it manually.. either way they end up crashing. Some games I'll be at my 200th turn and save the game.... come back the next day and won't be able to resume the game out of ANY of my manual or auto saves. The crash reports are pretty much useless, even when you report them which is cumbersome to do at best considering how many crash reports I have now -- don't expect them to be resolved.

Thats an entire days worth of gaming wasted for me... and I have to start all over again. I have yet to ever successfully complete a single game.

I think the game is worth it... definitely worth the cost of buying it on sale... it really is fun given that you can play it without crashing. Perhaps there are some PC builds that run the game much better, though I have never dealt with crashing of this magnitude ever before with any other game -- so consider this review fair warning. Below is what I think about the game:

+Graphics and animations are great
+Lots of options for customizing your nation/units/cities
+lots of complex ways to win, and you can customize how you want games to be won as well.
-No borderless windowed mode?
------crashing lots and lots of crashing. virtually unplayable at times.

Early Access Review
I've really only scratched the surface with about 20 hours in at this point, but so far Planet Explorers is one of the best building (voxel) and adventure games I've had the joy of playing. There are lots of elements of other games in here, and I think this game is going in a great direction. Before you get into specifics if you're wondering if this game is playable and worth an early access purchase: YES this game is completely playable, its fun, it has a lot of stuff for you to do, and is one of the best sandboxes I've ever played.

That being said here are some points I've noticed so far.

The graphics are pretty good, and it runs like a dream on my (somewhat) aging laptop. Performace is 25 FPS easy even on high load.

I've only played the adventure mode, but there are some quests - most of them pretty basic. Collect and kill mostly.

The animals seem to be fairly varied, as well as the attacks they do.

The crafting is really great, though the creation system could use a slightly better tutorial. In fact most things could use a better tutorial -- but this is an early access game.

There is probably a lot more I can go into detail about, though I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but plan on it soon. I can't wait for the next update.
