If anyone else is having issues with Steam. Just reinstall the program overtop itself, restart the computer, and then have it update. Just had to do that just now because for some reason it keeps self-imploding itself on every update.

Because it's the name I always use nowadays because of how it's a fantasy-version of the name 'Shadow', and my previous username of 'Synnire' has too much bad luck associated with it.
