@DarylHark thanks for complimenting my mod!

In Rimworld the most basic modding can be done by XML modding.

For Gene in Biotech DLC, you to look at GeneDef in `Biotech/Defs/GeneDefs` folder.

Simple modding(like adding gene) requires basic understanding of XML. Complex modding(cooler effects can't be done with XML) requires C# coding.

I'll suggest you to

* Read the modding tutorial on Rimworld's wiki.
* Take a look at and learn how other workshop mods done the thing you want(if have one)
* Learn C# coding/drawing if you need

I love your More Genes mod. I'd like to learn more about modding Rimworld. Do you know of a good current tutorial that covers the C# aspects of making mods like this one? I'd love a tutorial that went over making a Gene mod that adds traits like yours if one exists, but I'll check out anything if you have a suggestion. Thank you for including the source code!

@Greenpakto sounds good, maybe I can make one if I have leisure time.

Currently I'm creating a shield mod similar to Combat Shields for my mod collection.

Mind adding a very similar mod like your "Remove Traits" but the opposite. With an ability to add chosen trait as well? Removing a trait is great but adding one would also be nice...
