Imagine a mixture of graphics from Quake I and II with a Painkiller charm.
This is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. 10 azure shooting two-legg mixture of cacodemon and vorigaunt out of 10.

Played this masterpiece back in 2009 just when it was released.
I still remember that back in these days you could by a special DVD version which required Clear Sky or Shadow of Shernobyl, or a normal one which I bought back then.

I even remember this game it was announced - back in April 2009 GSC have shown us a new calendar with a screenshot from a place in bloodsucker lair on Zaton. I've noticed that it was very strange and I've never seen such a place in Clear Sky or even in Shadow of Chenrobyl. And a few days later a new game was announced.
After all these years I would still score it 8,5 canned meat out of 10.

The first version (1.6.00) was filled with bugs like the first version of SoC. Graphics was and still is good for 2009 even with DX11 effects. Game has a good storyline and all characters are just where they need to be.

Even after so many years this franchise has such a united and strong community which still makes new mods and memes. That's quality!

I still remember what was it like to play CoD4 back in 2007.
The change of setting was so radical and so damn funny so I couldn't stop laughing sometimes.
Especially in Pripyat which very different from STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl which was also released in 2007.
I would still give this game a 10 everliving Captain Prices out of 10. So damn funny and epic.
P.S. The shout "Amirekanci delayut popitku!" (Russian for "Americans are making a try") still makes me laugh so much...

It was a long time ago in a far far galaxy away...
It was August 22nd, 2008 when Clear Sky was released. And it immedeately became a meme - WAITALKER: Bugged Sky (Ждалкер: Забагованное небо). The first verson (1.5.00) was not stable at all, I only managed to complete the game after patch 1.5.03 (with ChN-1 armour, lol).
After all these years I still remember playing CS mulitplayer at evenings, laughing and chatting on the forums about a new portioins of bugs.
Sweet memories. I wish I could go back...

It was a year 2007 when I first played an RTS game from the developers of Warhammer series.
At first it looked like W40k but in WW2 setting, and it overall is.
Good gameplay, nice graphics, internal benchmark and support of DirectX 10 which appeared a few months later - it was a good and nasty WW2 cocktail.
Also I wish to thank the developers for German (Panzer Elite) campaign (in the first DLC) which was and still is quite a rare thing in WW2 games.

The game of my childhood. I still remember playing it at night when I was 11 years old.
Music, gameplay, multiple campaigns, scenarios and even a built-in map editor (i`m not quite sure how many maps and game scenarios were made in it) - it's a recipe for an epic game.
My special thanks are for this music, you can listen it for hours and it won't annoy you ever.
10/10. Wihout a dust. Classic game.

UPD. I'm not sure why they did not add Rise of Legends to Steam. They definetely need to do it.

At last, after more than 10 years of waiting here comes Black Mesa ver. 1.0.
Yes, you can't and you shouldn't make a direct copy of original game. And they didn't, they've added some spave to original levels and combined all their ideas with models frome HAL2 and even HL2 Beta (for example, Bullsquid was in HL2 Beta).
It's a masterpiece. 10 crombars out of 10!

After year of waiting (and, of course, playing the pirate version of the game) it's time to make a verdict.
Positive side:
1) It is really the best game in the Metro series. As a man who have played all the games of Metro from year 2010, I can guarantee and approve this by my experience.
2) Graphics became even better since Last Light (which came out in 2013 (!) and both Redux games.
3) It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece when it comes to storyline and especially the characters and factions. The Yamantau level will remain in my nightmares as long as I live. As a fan of old band named "Kuvalda" I was literally laughing, shouting and rolling under my table at the same time when I've heard the cry "MEEEEEAAAATTT!!!".
4) The endings. The first one I've gained was the good one. Basically it's the right one and all the group got what they wanted. But when I've seen the bad one... I still don't remember how but tears began to fall and I've realised that I don't want the same end for me and my family. If compared to this ending, film "Titanic" was a piece-of-cake.
5) DLCs. Both the "Sam's Story" and "Two colonels" are so damn epic that I just don't have the right words tho describe my impressions. The word "*УЙ" made by trees while Sam going out from Russia like a pig Pyotr - this is just hillarious.

Negative side:
1) There is still YOBA-oriented stealth mode (only two possible ways: "seen" or "not seen"). Stealth from the very first game was much more hardcore than now. Anyway people like it, or as one Russian singer said "Пипл хавает".
2) Bugs from the version 1.0.0 will always be a pain-in-the-ass memory for everyone who've played it.
3) Game seems too long at first side. But then you realise that it's too short. I may be wrong but Last Light and first version of "2033" both seem longer to me.

Conclusion: 9,5 Hunter tokens out of 10. The missing 0,5 tokens were taken by bugs of version 1.0.0

Другими словами, кроме как "Это озуенно!", данную игру не описать.
Атмосферность, графон, геймплей, синопсис и канва бесподобны. Ну ещё бы, конечно, музыку добавить тематическую и было бы идеально.
А так всё время ждёшь когда главный герой скажет что-нибудь вроде "Hail to the King, baby!", в перед тобой политико-социальный Redneck Rampage.
Честно говоря, бросает в ностальгию по святым девяностым и началу нулевых, когда фанаты хулиганили как хотели, а плешивая ГБшная мразь почему-то всё ещё занимающая должность президента России ссалась от страха при любой активности улицы.
Игре не 10 из 10. Тут 100500 нужно ставить.

P.S. Если кто не знает, то идея создать подобное была ещё в 2008 году. От неё на Youtube остался ролик "Русь пробуждается" с кавером на Romper Stomper.

To make long story short:
1) Aura that can only be understood by players from post-soviet states:
2) 13 possible endings;
3) All the characters are just awesome and unique;
4) Anime style is somehow charming;
5) Storyline is very detailed.
Conclusion: 10/10. Game that partially broke my heart and motivated to make some changes in my life.
P.S. Alisa is the best IMHO. I can say that i fell in love.
