Played a full run of the game. It works now flawlessly except for minor bugs that do not hinder the enjoyment.
The only remaining problem remains the eye directions of characters during the Farewell episode. Considering the dismal state of the game at launch, I am confident this will be fixed in due time as well.

The Remastered brings higher quality graphics so I highly recommend getting it.
If you never played Life is Strange, get this remaster instead of the original game. It's a straight up upgrade.
If you have the original, well... it is essentially the same but visually better. So I'd say only if you're an hardcore fan and planning to replay the game a couple of times more during your life.

I played a full run of the game just now. It is stable, I haven't noticed any bug except some subtitles that disappear a bit too fast.
The graphical improvements look great, although it could be subjective depending on the style you prefer.

I would recommend that to newcomers or hardcore fans. It is definitely unnecessary for those who already possess the original edition of the game. I must say I had a blast replaying it years after beating the original game.

Good game.

Interesting take on a Mount and Blade tactical game mixed with a bit of Dynasty Warrior. All in multiplayer.

Balance is not great as T5 units seem to be way too strong compared to T4. But it is improving.

Early Access Review
A good compromise between a fast action game and a military simulator.
Rifles oneshot, you have to walk a little to get to the objective but not too much, tactics and communication are essential.

Compared to Post Scriptum, it looks better. Sounds are slightly less immersive although still pretty amazing.
I think there might be too many fast firing weapons weapons due to half of the roles offering either a submachinegun, an MG, an automatic rifle or a semi automatic rifle.

Overall, it's a pretty good FPS that has huge potential for development. It has everything I love in PS without the cons.

Excellent game, but only if you like combat simulations. This is a realistic, teamplay focused game, where everything revolves on communication, organization and logistics. You've been warned.

The game still needs more content though, and TBH it feels stuck in early access despite the release.

Get this game if you have a mic and a team of at least 4 players to play with you, then you'll have a blast. Otherwise, don't bother.

A great improvement over Vermintide 1.

- More character customisation
- Better graphics
- More weapons
- Better crafting system
- More types of enemies
- Still as cheap as vermintide 1

.... what else do you want ? Go get it !

Early Access Review
This game is unique, you will either love or hate it.

I would recommend only if you are an hardcore fan of crafting with a mix of PVP/RP in a realistic medieval atmosphere. You have to join with a group of friends or an existing guild, this is not for solo gameplay.

The issues are mainly on the technical side, and some dev decisions that players feel wrong.

Pros:
- The only "survival" game that provide crafting and combat on this scale.
- No wipe, you also don't lose your base during the night when you can't defend it.
- Atmosphere of the game really feels medieval
- Enjoy politics, treasons and drama.

Cons:
- The servers can not sustain the originally planned numbers. Crashes happen often.
- Bugs and exploits are discovered, patched, and yet more come.
- Long to grind, especially if you don't understand the mechanics. If you haven't played Your Own version of the game previously, get some help from veterans.
- Pricey if you need a starter pack. If you have YO, you have a free ticket for one character.
- Combat is a bit clunky. It's far from being as good as mount & blade, but for an MMO it's quite good.

Notes
- Cash shop is not PayToWin as in some korean mmos, but certainly helps to some extent. You can have a x2 XP boost for one hour that you can activate only once every 24H. You also have death insurance which prevents loss of skill while dying.
It is not as P2W as it seems because XP really depends of the capacity of your group to get ressources (like good food which improves XP rate). The boost is nice but if you don't have those it will make you as good as someone who has good food for... one hour.
Alignment can prevent skill loss during death, which you can easily get high enough by playing and praying.
So it indeed helps, but in the long run it is not game breaking at all. Rest of the cash shop are skins and tickets for more characters.

The key to win is numbers, get a large group, get carefully involved in politics, get good at pvp, and you'll be fine.

Conclusion : If you are a medieval fan, have friends, and you don't mind to grind and suffer, go get it. If not, wait for final release.
- This game is unique and has incredible potential. But it has a lot of issues. So be prepared.

So, I play as a 16 year old girl, and I can steal money in order to buy drugs at a private party ? Just to smoke it in my bedroom the next morning after coming back wasted, while my mother is calling me for breakfast ?
10/10 for Chloe Price.

Seriously, feels good to be back to Life is Strange, I missed the story and the characters, and this episode did not disappoint.
Read my review of Life is Srange to know more about the game, I will quickly do the DLC here :

For the dlc :
+ Perfect choice for the story ! It really adds to the base game to be able to explore the relationship between Chloe and Rachel. I will definitely play it again after beating the dlc.
+ The Chloe "♥♥♥♥ you I do what I want" minigame is really fun and, for once, is a gameplay mechanic that is really fitting to the character. Love it. Basically, playing as Chloe is GREAT.
+ May be same thing but the dialogues are really good. Perfect writing and voice acting.
+ Quite... adult themed ? I mean, we have ansgty teenagers smoking drugs, being drunk, sexual themes aren't dodged... welcome to the real world ?
+ The overall atmosphere, if a video game can be art then this should be on the list.
- As in every LiS episode, it is too short ! Especially considering the DLC only has a handful of episodes, it is quite expensive.
- Songs are good, but a notch less from the original game. They are still decent, but not mind-blowing if you see what I mean.
- I hope you liked Chloe in the base game, otherwise there is no point playing this DLC. At least Max was the voice of calm and reason in LiS, in this DLC there are only angsty raging teens, you've been warned.

To sum up, it's decent and definitely worth a buy if you liked the base game. If you did not then there is no point buying this as it's more of the same, except with more rage and wits.
If, like me, your favorite character was Chloe, well, it's a must buy.

*First episode completed in more than 3 hours, taking my time to explore most of it*

This game is a free TPS set in the grim darkness of 40K universe. It plays like any classical PVP shooter game, nothing extraordinary. Is it P2W ? No. Is it good ? Hmm, it's OK under certain conditions. Is the game as good as it was supposed to be ? Definitely not. More to that later.

So why the thumbs up ? The game manages to recreate the bloody gothic warfare of the 40K and make players feel part of it. Would it be in any other universe, this game would be a thumb down.

VERDICT : PLAY ONLY IF FAN OF 40K UNIVERSE, OTHERWISE PASS.

Detailed review

Graphics : OK
Like most things in the game, it's nothing extraordinary. It's not good, it's not bad, it's right in the middle.
The art design is good regarding buildings and the environment, however the characters feel too cartonish to me, especially the eldars.
Expect a lot of explosions. If you do not like explosions everywhere, this game is not for you.

Gameplay : Bad-OK
It's not OK and it's not utterly bad either.
The shooting is OK, all basic gameplay features you can expect are there : cover, shoot from cover, aim...
Where it shines comes from the variety of classes and weapons : from the venerable boltgun to autocannons, meltaguns and plasma cannons, you have some choice and most don't play the same. I have a lot of fun of one-shotting people with plasma cannons.
The melee however, is very bad. It is basically a rock-paper-scissor game where you barely see your opponent among all the fireworks and all melee attacks force you to dash forward in a retarded way. So nope. Terrible melee system.
Overall, you do not play eternal crusade for its gameplay, some games are better in that aspect.

Vehicles are poorly done. Controls are average, but weapons lack the punch expected from war machines. Transports allow players to respawn in them, which make them primary objectives. A big part of the success of a game depends on your ability to destroy enemy transports.

Another problem comes from the net code. if you are far from the servers (Frankfurt in Europe and I don't remember where the server is in USA), then do not bother. This game requires timing and if you lag it is going to be a nightmare.
Still better than Ubisoft networking.

The customisation is Okayish and enjoyable, you are limited in what you can bring and it forces you to make some hard choice. Do I bring melta bomb or keep this better armor ? But it is still poor for some classes, so I can't rate this any higher than OK.

Sounds : OK
Nothing extraordinary either. Music is (sometimes) great, but you don't really notice particularly good sounds effects. There are some bugs regarding sound effects though, so sometimes you hear things that happen far from you, and sometimes you do not hear a gun shooting at 2cm.

Story : There is none.

P2W aspect : Excellent
99% of items can be acquired with in game money, while paying may grant you some minor specific effects for weapons(for example 5 burn damage over time for 100 customisation points, which is not worth it at all). Jump classes are reserved for buyers, but they are not a must-have class considering how clunky melee is (it can be for eldars though since iti s ranged, but overall you do not miss something completely necessary).
There is no P2W aspect at all.
Buying the game gives you x3 progression which allows you to unlock the stuff of all classes easily. If you want to keep the game free, then specialize yourself in 1-2 classes and you should be just fine.
Buyer have access to cosmetics options and (later on) elite classes, but the latter does not seem to be unique and is just a class reskin with specific loadout.

Special flavor : 40K universe.
Basically, this is why you play this game. You want to blast the incoming loyalist scum with your autocannon on the walls of a captured fortress ? You want to use camouflage to cut down the unexpecting space marine passing by ? You want to rush forward with your stormshield, crushing orks along your way ? Well this is (at my knowledge) the only game that does that.

Note regarding founders and why it went bad : so a lot of players backed this game because it was planned as a planetside in a 40K universe. Technology sucked so they couldn't make it and released that small, skirmish game instead, plus made it free to play. SInce founders were given a refund after the decision was made to not go planetside way I do not consider this as a breaking issue, but I understand people feel that way (especially if you have given lots of money). I am still happy they made this game and not cancelled it.

So, for conclusion, I would definitely recommend you to play this game if you like the 40K universe. If not then give it a try (it's a free !) but be aware that it as a lot of issues.

OPINION AT RELEASE :
The devs did a great job at improving the game, I could definitely recommend a buy.

but :
- the survival aspect is really easy. Mobs are relatively easy to kill and gathering is insanely fast even at x2 (official server settings)
- PVP is a bit unbalanced. Defenders can repair walls or even replace them or trap the raiders inside their base. You really need a good preparation.

--- REVIEW MADE AT BEGINNING OF EA--------
It is really hard to review a game so soon after release, however I can not help but notice the game has improved significantly. Some of the earlier reviews are now missing the real state of the game.

What am I ? I am in a clan of 10 people on a x1 unofficial server. No offline raiding, no avatars. This review is about my experience, not the one of a solo player or in a very small clan, keep that in mind.

To sum up the game, it's basically a better ark.

+ The Good

- Engage in savage PVP, build your base and level up in order to dominate others. No dinos, breaking through bases takes a lot of effort unlike RUST (when you get to stone buildings at least), so the the game revolves about brutal melee combat and killing your enemies on the field.
- More balanced and fun than ARK. No dinos to tame, you won't need to stay 4 hours straight to protect your capture. No dinos will crush all your base in one swipe.
- You have to deal with monsters hunting across the lands, dungeons full of vicious creatures and demons, other exiles... it's quite nice to fight different kind of enemies.
- Conan universe. The game is immersive, you feel like living in a barren, barbarian, desertic world. I like the oriental-themed style. And the thrall system is brillant, that I am sure devs are going to expand.
- The game suffers from lag and rollback issues but the devs managed to make one patch everyday since launch and the game is now in a playable state. It is still early access though, bugs still do exist and it's far from perfect. You would have asked me yesterday if the game was playable I'd have said no. Now this is much better.
- Funcom seems a very serious company and did not disappoint seeing how much work they had put at release, even releasing a patch on sunday. This game has great potential and the devs are more professionals than some other compagnies.
- Levelling takes time but it is not too long either. The XP you get is mostly from combat, so be prepared to kill stuff. I think the devs should rise the EXP you get from crafting.

- The Bad

- As an early access game it is still plagued by bugs, lags etc... so either you are patient and you will like the game for what it has to offer, or you want a game free of all these hussles and you won't like CE at all.
- Melee combat is better than most survival but it is still not as good as pure combat titles such as chivalry, war of the roses etc. You hit, you have to manage your stamina, dodge and you can't parry (you can only block with a shield). The one with the best gear and stats will kill any noob easily.
- Unbalanced. Ranged combat is impossible due to lags and the ridiculous range of bows/xbows, some weapons are far stronger than others etc... and avatars seem far too easy to summon. For now.
- Somehow a lack of content especially at end game.
- Offline raiding is still a thing, so pick an unofficial server that has rules against it if you want to. Otherwise, build on a cliff and destroy your stairs everytime you disconnect. Keep in mind this won't prevent avatars from wiping your bases... Again, choose a server with the ruleset you like.
- As in similar survival titles, there are things easily abused (blocking paths with unbreakable walls, farming people over and over etc...). Keep calm and find a good server...

* Should you buy this ... ?

- If you are patient and understanding of what early access means, ie enduring bugs, lags, wipes etc...
- If you like other survivals games, and want a more balanced experience around PVP.
- If you have a lot of time to play
- If you have people to play with.

Grade of the game : GREAT POTENTIAL.
