Early Access Review
Never buy this for pugs, 20 year old school boys having played too much crappy royale has scrambled their heads completely, after an hour i still haven't been close to starting a game due to most people running around like the children that they are, like they are overcompensating and hitting others for their lack of humility and restraint that their parents never taught them. most multiplayer games struggle getting 4 monkeys together, imagine the nightmare with 7 or 8.

The time spent with it and i managed to get the tutorial done with two players, i really do not need to know how good the game is, it is irrelevant when the multiplayer model is terrible at best.

If you by any chance live past that then you will be plagued with no games being available since the developers could not code dropins.

Surprisingly fun game, the lobby system is a mess, we need to be able to promote someone else to leader for maps since the difficulty on them is randomized.

Having one ghost/demon is fine but give us a slider of how many ghosts we want in a map, this should really spice up multiplayer and its replay value.

When a game can't even get swimming physics right there is need to worry, the building system is average, has been done better already.

If you expect a deep crafting and building simulator this is not it and you instantly pick up everything rather than carrying it around like in Green Hell, if it actually took the crafting system from Kingdom Come like it did with John's Wort and other things it would be much better off, the alchemy crafting in Kingdom Come is the best i've seen so far, imagine a smithing system the same way.

As a early access game it's not worth it's asking price yet, i do like this type of games a lot so i might keep it and see what happens.

The story is good if you're a fan of the old comics like i am, otherwise it's nothing mindblowing.

Gearscore is a itemization system i really dislike, you basically keep upgrading your gear with a few levels upgrade until you get to the end, imagine having a item system that morphed your abilities instead making each part highly collectable, rather than having basic system such as gearscore, why they decided to use this i will never know, it was terrible in Destiny and sure is now. You can do better Crystal Dynamics.

Matchmaking is pretty much broken, that's not acceptable for this pricetag anymore, you know this.

Stay clear of the deluxe edition, the content you get from unlocks are far superior to the ♥♥♥♥ you get in deluxe, waste of money.

I forgot to mention Disney, Disney is ♥♥♥♥, the end.

11 hours in the issues is obvious, the interface is focusing on beauty rather than being practical and compact it's not great to operate to be honest. No custom factions (it may be hidden somewhere i don't know), no diplomatic mapmode which is the mapmode that i used more than any other.

There are positives such as the stress bar and claim fabrication and no pop up message spam, but not enough to outweight the negatives, in its current state i can't recommend this heavily modernized take on grand strategy, which to me is more leaning towards strategy now.

People with weak minds are easily swayed to new and shiny things, .

If you want a great grand strategy game though and are not a complete idiot who gives up on things within minutes then try out Victoria 2, Europa Universalis III/IV, Hearts of Iron 3/4 or Crusader Kings 2, those are all worthy grand strategy titles.

if you are a grand strategy fan like me and on the verge on buying this, don't. I regret wasting my money on it even if i got the royal edition for less than 40€, it's not worth that much.

Money trap, don't play it if you are a weak minded fool. Xp is criminally grindy to favour their doubloons pay to win crap. As i said don't buy it, there's a cracked test server i really recommend playing on that if you want this game.

The game is def not free to play i guarantee you would be wasting your time playing the real game for free as you lose credits doing so, instead find the cracked test server and play with everything for free like this game should have been.

May you drown in your greed devs/publisher, a bit like Thorin Oakenshield in his dreams.

The problem i have with F1 2020 is the same i have every year, you know it's one of those sport games that are squirted out every year, what does that tell you about the quality for a one year developed game ? it's average and that's not good enough for the asking price.

The character creation is non-existent as you pick from a premade driver, atleast they could do like ea and allow you to customize your own as a bare minimum.

Then there's the podium scenes, why can't the driver talk for himself?!, every year you make this bland cutscene with the driver with a helmet on, why can't the driver have a face?, don't tell me it's too hard for you to make a customization system for drivers, you are in the 3xA genre you should have this mastered with all the games you release.

Everything in regards to the driving is fine, it's everything around it that's the issue.

Also please look up pc coding on how to make the mouse work in menus, it's not acceptable for 60€ game plus microcheese.

If you make a custom driver system, and real voice acting for the driver's face when they win instead of a copy paste helm and mouse navigation for the menu i think we have some noticable improvements, for next year skip driving improvements and work on the game please.

Physics - 8
Graphics - 8.5
Gameplay - 7 Custom drivers in career is really a must, it's not nice having someone elses face, please also add face scanning for people with a cam.
Sound - 8.5
Tobi/Trackir - 9 both works out of the box with no issues in game, great and not always a given.
Controls - 9 after the issues with the mouse not working in menus i expected the controls to give me a hard time, but no everything worked as it should it even recognized my old custom gearbox.

If you improve the gameplay whatever way you think possible with this game or next year i will change my reviews to a recommend, when you charge 60€ for a game you automatically set yourselves up for a fall cause we expect only the best after that.

Great game pulled down in the mud by dishonest developers who promised to deal with cheating. Cheat however disable the little anticheat they have that don't work, it also enable dlc and much more than that. They could have done something about it because they sure did their best to prevent dlc cheating with the cheater tag, so it's not ignorance that holds them back.

If the developers do a wipe of all accounts and implement a anticheat such as eac or battleye that effectively takes care of Pirate Perfection and all the other crap out there, i will change my review because like i said it is a great game after all.

Also to those people that claim cheating is harmless because we can host our own games is just silly, we should be able to join online games, also cheaters can still join your game even if you uncheck allow cheaters or modded players.

As a big fan of simulators i got this on the sale, the game has a healthy dose of fun. What makes me recommend against it is the fact that they sell it as a simulator. Steam is saturated with simulator games, publishers like to use the word "Simulator" in their games as it increase the sales.

But having played many simulators i expect it delivered. While the game is fun it is certainly not a simulator.

No interactions with the motherboard connectors, most of the connectors are not in the game so you do not learn how to assemble a motherboard in detail, and a simulator should cover all hardware in the game especially the most essential piece such as the motherboard, there are so many variations of mobos and poor manuals that its not always straight forward for new builders.

No manuals, it would have been cool to have the real hardware manuals for motherboards and other essential hardware, easy to add into the game and adds realism. You wouldn't have copyright issues since you have the mobos in your game. it could be a app on your computer where you search for hardware and then look up the manual before building. Then if you one day build a system and you by coincidence know the manual from the game then you actually learned something useful.

No backplates, I mention this because it is easily overlooked when building a pc, as a beginner you see this cross plate in your package and you wonder what it is for, depending on system it can cause damage if you have some heavy weight on your mobo without a backplate.

You can't sell sli setups or brand new systems on the auction: it only register one of the cards also your hardware is priced as used even if its brand new, old problem since 2019 that should have been fixed by now as it is by far one of the most interesting things to do in the game. To the game's defense you can buy a used one, repair or replace it and then sell it but i would have liked to do it with brand new systems.

If you want a fun game and run a repair shop this is the game for you, but if like me you expect a in-depth simulator, you won't find it here.

Also do not use this half arsed attempt at a simulator to try and build a pc with, it will cause a lot more harm than good from all the important details left out.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a surprise, i played it first when it came out and it was fantastic. We have no quality control on pc anymore thanks to Valve and their Steam client as they let anyone sell games these days.

In an age where everything is rushed, overhyped and controlled by a greedy publisher, a game like this should not be possible when everything else is squirted out, so it was a great surprise.

I don't need to tell you the game is great, if i recommend anything and it is extremely rare, you can trust that and my 30 years on pc too, my review is my bond.
