Spent 10 hours playing the demo for the game and loved every moment of it. Balatro stands right up there with Slay the Spire and is definitely worth the purchase.

I thought I was smart by taking out my opponent's king with my pawn, but unbeknownst to me, my opponent was using the Tennison Gambit ICBM variation and my game crashed as I took the king out. I got outplayed.

100th Black Market expands upon the card mechanic of Unconnected Marketeers in a great way. Each attempt at a level is a unique experience, and from how much I played so far, I really enjoy it. I definitely see myself coming back for years to come given the roguelite nature of this game.

This game is also better than Violet Detector.

I played NieR Gestalt back in 2018, and this experience is just as magical as the first time. NieR Replicant v.1.22 does a fantastic job of improving many aspects of the original game, though there is a bug with the PC version as of writing this review (can fix by capping frame rate outside of the game). I 100% recommend this game for those who played NieR Gestalt in the past, and those who never experienced it.

A fantastic game with great characters, unique gameplay, infectiously amusing writing, and really good music. One of the hidden gems of 2020, and a must buy for anybody who is a fan of deckbuilders.

Awkward art design that fits better in a point and click adventure than a Metroidvania hurts this game quite a bit. The constantly somber music makes me want to sleep rather than push forward. Combat is far too punishing as regular enemies can take you out in 2-3 hits, and with wonky controls you're more likely to take hits than not. The story for this game is not bad, it just did not help to really motivate me into wanting to discover more.

Overall this game was boring and disappointing; I would not recommend this to anybody.

Played the demo for 9 hours when it first came out and I absolutely enjoyed it. Smooth combat with quick respawns if you make a mistake, a soundtrack that goes very well with the theme of the game, and gameplay mechanics that, once mastered, change your perspective entirely.

This is a game I will 100% recommend.

Barely played it but I can tell it's a game that I do not wish to play again. Constant bugs and using the weapons felt both stiff and unrewarding. If you enjoy the game, more power to you, and I am glad you found something fun to play. Even though I did not have fun with it, I wish the developers the best of luck in the future.

I played the demo for this game back in May and have been following the development of it since. Amazing game with a developer dedicated to improving every aspect of it and a great team working alongside him. I 100% recommend this game to anybody who enjoys rouge-likes, and especially those who played the Mega Man Battle Network series.

There is not a single bad character in this game. Playing through it was a treat and learning the stories for each character proved to be a fun experience. The soundtrack/art is phenomenal and furthered my enjoyment. This is a game that deserves being bought at full price.
