play all the games, buy figures, live on the streets with your figures because they just keep coming out with more and not paying rent means you can buy more of them!

apparently a 2nd game is in development, I will definitely keep an eye out for it.

my main complaint is quite a number of maps ended up in a put your tanky unit here, have archers do what they can do for a few turns because each enemy applies a -movement on later maps... making it impossible for you to push your army through a doorway... not much of a challenge to leave your dragon+support squads in front to slowly take things out. Small complaint when you consider the whole game though.

my playtime is Full campaign on Warlord, Legends DLC content, and some arena grinding to get squad leaders the needed leadership and level underleveled units(you can basically infinitely grind this at the end of the game, its limited earlier). Then a low difficulty run to get the chapter 11/12 achievements(doing them after making this review) for 100% completion

unit traits aren't really required either(they prbly are a bit more on ludicrous difficulty... I tend to avoid the highest difficulty and go 1 lower on games like this on first runs... might replay it on ludicrous NG+ some day in the future though), I only gave my entire army traits... before doing the final campaign chapter.

Note: I got this game for free with the intent of it being for testing and possibly a review(not required) before game release. do feel the asking price is high but I would rather judge the content and not the value.

As of writing I have done both characters routes and gotten the secret ending(with the dev giving me the choices to get it so I didn’t have to go through the trial and error of every possible choice combination) … the secret ending got a good laugh out of me… people might see why when they get it.

The game is short(roughly 2 hours for all routes at a casual pace), the story is a simple yet enjoyable isekai story, there are a few choices, some just change a few lines of dialogue throughout the story, and some are for the branching story paths, and of course the super specific choices to hit a secret ending.

Art is good, nothing amazing but good. The sex scenes don’t overstay their welcome like in some other VN’s(game could have gone without them too and nothing really would have changed). There are no animated scenes or voice acting, the music selection is small(not an issue due to game length) but good.

I did find a few minor spelling/grammar issues which I did report and are likely fixed by the time it is released for sale.

Overall I enjoyed it.

This was my first time touching the Ratchet and Clank series and I loved it.
looking forward to maybe trying older games in the series now

I was only going to do a couple runs... 6 hours later I was still playing today.

game is great as is, can't wait to see how it develops further, I assume more gods, another character and more levels/bosses.

I am an addict, I just want to keep playing.

I think play time should speak for itself, its spread between early access and retail release to.

might play more and attempt to 100% this to.

this game is rather hard, I suck at it enough I had to drop down to narrative mode which makes it much harder to lose. Even on noob mode it can still stress you out.

I enjoyed the story of this at least, do recommend checking it out even if you have to play it in noob mode(you also get no achievements in this mode)

Game bugged out during the tutorial for the claw preventing progress, upon doing research this is because its controller support is apparently absolute garbage and this is only playable with mouse/keyboard.

also the irritating beeping like sound was enough to make me uninstall and refuse to give it another chance.
