Was very hesitant to get Victoria 3 because of all the negative comments. Perhaps much of it has been fixed and improved since then, but I am having a blast with this game!

Play this game to protect our way of living!

So much more depth than it may appear at first. I love to play this also with my kid in split-screen coop! So grateful for the devs including that option.

Only boring thing about the game is when your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Oh, the tedious walk...

Hilarious couch coop game!

Played the game about 2 years ago and couldn't really get into it much. Felt too much like an ARK clone. Recently, I was looking for a survival game to play and came across this one again. Decided to give it a try and WOW, this game has improved a lot! The combat system is a lot of fun, with combos and different fighting styles per weapon types.

I've been having so much fun these past few weeks that I decided to get the full DLC pack during Winter sale. Don't regret it one bit. Happy to support Funcom for their work. Isle of Siptah is a very nice new map, too.

I played Valheim and enjoyed it a lot, but coming back to this now feels like this is way more advanced. I wish Valheim and Conan Exiles had a baby, taking best of both worlds. For example, Valheim could use NPC followers like thrall that you can take with you or just have them guard your base. That way your base comes alive. And I wish Conan Exiles had some stuff from Valheim like the smoke mechanic or more dynamic weather effects like fog, storms, etc.

But what I miss most of all in Conan Exiles is procedurally generated maps. The Exiled lands and Isle of Siptah are really great, but once you've explored it, you've basically seen it all. That's a shame. When I play with friends just joining the game, there's is no way we can "explore" something together for the first time. I basically already know where we're going, where we need to find what, what boss is located where, ... If Conan Exiles had random maps, every game would bring new adventure and exploration, always the element of surprise like in Valheim.

Anyway, besides nitpicking on those, I really love this game. And the mods take it to a whole new level. I play mostly singleplayer or coop. From the 100+ hours of playtime I spent maybe 2-3 hours on an online server.

If you like roleplaying like me, there are plenty of mods that let you customize your character just the way you want. Don't want to run around in bulky big heavy armor but still want to benefit from the armor rating? No problem, the mods let you alter the looks of everything. Hide all your armor and equip separate shoulder pieces, underwear, leather straps, belts, finger nails, earrings, cloaks, ... :)

I can only recommend this game. Whether you are a Valheim player looking for an alternative until they add more content, or you're an MMO player, a creative builder, a survivalist, a crafter, an explorer, a fighter, ... there's fun for all.

The OST of the entire Kingdom series is just phenomenal. Absolutely love it.
