Best with FRIENDS

This one of those type of games you pick n' play when you really don't know what to play.
It's a hoard Shooter-Looter with okay AI imo. Story/Plot is extremely forgettable.

It's main gimmick is you go around fighting bigger and tougher Robots while exploring the map.
While the Robots are fun to fight the 1st to 5th time, it gets old really fast.

The exploration meanwhile is very whatever. You can get collectables, clothing, guns and all the stuff you'd expect from a looter-shooter. But the thing is, all that means nothing if there's no reason for a person to get invested in the world. And honestly, the world exploration gives the same feeling and experience as a run of the mill Roblox game.

So be all end-all? Not worth the price tag at all. For what this game has to offer, it's highest asking price should be $10 MAX. OR, have a friend gift it to you.

Is the Game worth it?

Honest Answer:
No

Reason Number 1: The game is painfully Grindy . Even on the easiest difficulty, which allows you to access cheat items that make the game mildly more tolerable. You still have to constantly press your *confirm* key to get through all the dialogue. This is addressed right when you complete your first play-through of the game but, the incentive to keep this game afterwards will be noticeably pointless as you read the dialogue.

Reason Number 2: The Translation is actually horrid. Whoever decided to translate this game was clearly not paid enough to care because right as you finish the prologue (aka tutorial), you can immediately start noticing the spelling and grammatical errors. I can say this issue alone had caused my opinion of this game to nosedive as I tried to complete another play-through.

Reason Number 3: Many bugs. This game tries to entice you with buffs/ abilities upon completion of a sub-route. These rewards you get are not well implemented in the game. More often than not, I noticed that after doing a sub-route that my prior starting abilities were now locked out and couldn't be fixed unless I reloaded a prior save before going into a sub-route or getting an ending through the sub-route/ after the sub-route. These bugs just made me not to want to engage with optional content in the game since if I ducked up saved over backup my save, I'm screwed and would have to slog through the sub-route that messed up my play-through.

Reason Number 4: Annoying controls. Due to how this game is grounded in RPGmaker, there are many cases where you'll find yourself dealing with an exorbitant amount of menus. Within these menus, you'll find access to abilities that are relatively necessary to use but are buried under 3 different menus making the experience of this game to be extremely tedious. If the dev had decided to add the option to hotkey these abilities, I wouldn't have a need to point this issue out.

Conclusion: Honestly fits more under the genre of visual novel rather than an RPG. I do notice that the dev tried to make this game into an actual game but, there is too many extra layers that are hindering the overall experience you get from the game.

WHAT TO DO TO SKIP THE TEDIOUSNESS: So, there's luckily a way for you access all the scenes relatively quickly. You have to complete the game once and I recommend doing that on the hardest difficulty. Upon completing the game on the hardest difficulty, you'll just option to your horny numbers bigger but it also rewards with access to every cheat item for future play-throughs, including the access to all scenes cheat item.
TO GET THIS ITEM, just lose through every boss fight. Don't engage with any sub-routes and just focus on primary route given to you right after the tutorial. Set a macro to quickly press and hold your *confirm* keys so get through the awful dialogue. With this method, you should be done with a first time play-through with under 30 mins in the game.

On the bright-side, this game is cheap but you're also paying for a relatively cheap product. There's alot of Quantity in the game but not enough to Quality to justify the time you need to put in to experience the game.

For what it is worth, the game checks the boxes of:

It focuses entirely on the story.
Has at least around 30+ H-scenes and around 10+ cut-in scenes.
Pretty good artwork and detailing within scenes.
Entertaining story-telling.

The boxes the game does not check:

Gameplay, there is only two segments in the game where there the standard rpg elements are used.
-As Linear of a game as you can get, arguably can be considered a visual novel due to how the game shoves cut-
scenes down your throat.

Take aways I got from the game:

Heavily overpriced for what it offers.
-Would recommend to wait for at MINIMUM 30% off this game.
Expect around 2-4 hours worth of game depending on how much of the text you actually read.
No replay value due to the heavy story focus.
While the corruption system is neat but, it lost it's value as soon as you finished the primary objective.

If you wanna pump and dump this game:

If you want to just get all the scenes, max out your charm stat and just run around any of the castle/ town maps.
It should take you about 15+ mins to get your meter filled with this method and be able to get the ending that'll grant you access to unlocking all the scenes.

Final rating of the game:
6/10 - Story was entertaining but not enough to carry the price tag.

For an H-RPG game, this feels REALLY rough around the edges. The art is the only major selling point that this game has got going for it so far. However, the art can be way too much at times even with the warning provided in game. The overall core gameplay loop of beating baddies feels lackluster. For example, in each new area you go to their is a new enemy type that you have to fight. Each of these enemies have a weakness to a specific spell that you can ONLY learn in the area that you're fighting them in. To gain these spells, you have to either lose to get LVLs or grind for LVLs. Ironically, the fastest way to progress is losing. I understand that developer wants show off the CG cutscenes but, even the cutscenes aren't that great.
Aside from art and the gameplay loop, there isn't much else in this game. The developer appears to be actively updating with fanart and a supposed roadmap. But I think you are better off either passing on this game or waiting for more updates. This game still plays like an Alpha build so that may take awhile.

This game is Enjoyable. However, it is NOT Fun when it comes to understanding the game or its gameplay. Digital Extremes have crafted quite a fun universe to look at, not play. From my experience of 350+ hours(which most of those were me forgetting to turn the game off) was aggervating from start to finish with the gameplay and its plot. The community of this game is overrated, they are the ones who say it's worth the struggle at the beginning but honestly it's not. It requires too much of an investment for me and many others to care about what is happening in the game. Even after the 350+(realistically 100-150) hours, I'm still questioning what is the point to the game.

But even with all the negativity I have towards the game, I found thrill in it's experimentation. The upgrade system and varying weapon types are what really kept me going through those hours. The characters you get for the most part of not worth it though. But aside from getting all those things, the best part was... well breaking the game. You'll notice a lot of glitches but most are hilarious to look at. Deformed character models, clunky physics engine and endless see of lighting glitches are just to name the most prominent ones in my playthrough.

So is the game worth playing? No.
Is the game fun to watch? Yes but only on videos.

This game kicks ass in terms of gameplay and my own. You will astounded on the complexity this game has just on its own. Do not worry about searching up tutorials, just play the game like you would with child-like wonder. You are gonna figure out the in and outs as you play; You will also find satisfaction after lossing or completing a run because there is so much to learn from it. Even this many hours in, I still learn about new mechanics, item combos, dungeon layouts, enemy placement and so with each run I do.

Play it and enjoy it to your hearts content. Chances of having another experience that this game brings are very slim to none.

I've been givin this game from my brother as a birthday gift. I didn't believe him at first when he told me "You're going to love this." So when I finally got bored enough to play it, I have no regrets of doubting the potential this game has. All the way from the modding community to fan art. It does not dissappoint with pure holesome fun for anyone in the adventurous category.

9/10 Very strong gameplay, music, art style and as well great people
