Return of the Obra Dinn is probably the greatest detective game ever made.

Coming from the sole creator of "Papers, Please" RotOD puts you in the shoes of an insurance investigator tasked with assessing the damage to the ship and finding the fate of it's crew, with only the help of a book outlined with major events and a magical watch.

Positives
+ An engaging story told organically through every death, that keeps you entertained until the end. And like every good story, it's got a good amount of foreshadowing...

+ Discovering who and how each person on the ship died is truly satisfying. Sometimes you'll have someone shout the dead's name or rank, or mention their relationship with someone else. But it's the most obscure of circumstances that'll have you looking at every detail and asking yourself questions to determine their identity.
"What does this accent sound like?"
"What weapon is he carrying?"
"How is he dressed?"
Eureka! moments are aplenty here.

+ The music is good. There's not that much, but it fits with each death. One great example is the "adventurous" music that sounds in the first 4 fates and how it contrasts with the doom-scenario of the 5th. You won't remember it after a few days, but it does it's job

+ The voice acting is superb, and considering that it's a, sometimes crucial, tool in the game, it does it's job

+ The graphics fit the "Memento Mortem" theme if the game, and make the game even scary sometimes (There are no jumpscares, i sould add, though the sound effects sometime accomplish this...)

The only real complains of the game i have is that to locate a body after a memory, you have to follow a trail of light that moves slowly, circles around for a while and doesn't move if you aren't close, and that, as the moment of writing, the game doesn't have an option to delete all fates and input new ones, so a certain achievement is locked behind a second playthrough, which is annoying considering the game has no replayability (unless you forget it in 20 years or club yourself in the head).
But none of this affects my enjoyment of the game in any meaningful way, it's a masterpiece in storytelling and, like i said before, one of the greatest detective games ever made.
Gonna be painful to wait for the next of Pope's work, honestly

Good game to play with friends.
Plus, melee attack is a goat. I can only ask for more goats on release

The only downside of this game is releasing the same day as Wolfenstein 2 and AC: Origins
