It's everything the first did with some added gameplay mechanics. So a pretty good platformer that embraces its humor fully this time, with some damn fine music.
Only complaint I have is that the backgrounds can be a little bit distracting every so often but it's not a real problem.
Plus, it's FREE? What the ♥♥♥♥.

A unique and challenging combat system with punishing bosses that challenge the player on many levels in aspects of gameplay for each one of them.
Oh, and the soundtrack is kickass.

Early Access Review
Well for starters, you don't need a VR headset to play this game. However picking things off of tables without one is damn near impossible, if not completely impossible.
It's a game where people ♥♥♥♥ around on maps, draw ♥♥♥♥♥, dress up as anime characters, and meme. However importing avatars is not very accessible and can cause severe headaches if you're not in the mood for it.
In general the potential here is wonderful, and the community thrives. Just avoid dead memes and make friends along as you go.

Fun and tense platformer/stealth title. Functions in a similar way to Limbo and Inside, but with a 2D to 3D jump. I found it to be unique but with some flaws in the camera angles. It can be difficult to tell if you're going to make a jump or not.
Despite being a linear puzzle game, it manages to be a trial and error fest if you don't know where you're going or doing.
There are many secrets in this game, including collectables. The DLC (Secrets of the Maw) is releasing soon, so go check that out if you want more of this game.
Sadly it's a rather short game, but the last hour or two are magical. The entire game was like Spirited Away, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and with more culinary references. It's a recommended purchase at regular price, and a severely recommended buy at any price for anyone who enjoyed Inside or likes stealth titles.

In terms of gameplay OneShot is a good game. 8/10 type gameplay where you talk to NPC's and gather items to solve puzzles to progress to the next area. It has an extremely unique mechanic on how progression is handled by interesting means. I won't spoil it but it's very immersive.
In terms of an experience however, OneShot is really something else. It's immersive, somber, funny, and either makes you fear for your computer's safety or is really unique. (It's both.)
Also there's *extra* things. What? You thought you beat the game? PFFFT.
But yeah, it took me a month (No joke) to get over the ending. Then I ruined the immersion for myself and tried to remember that it's just a game. After a summer of wallowing in my own tears I came to the conclusion this game is great and you should play it. Anyone can, so why not?
OneShot is now a memory: One that I will carry for my whole life, and possibly beyond.
I will never forget the journey me and Niko shared.

good haunted house romp with some tightly designed stealth and running parts, but relies too heavily on scripted sequences and thus makes repeated playthroughs seem cheap once you figure it all out.
still better than outlast 2 lmao. the dlc is also quite good, but leans on the shock part of things a bit. not to say the campaign itself doesn't.
