Scripted linear FPS, but the way it's meant to be done. Choices matter, but it's hard to know when what you're doing will affect the story, though not in such a way that you end up trying random things.

The world is incredibly atmospheric. NPCs are well written and not too cliche. It's not as hardcore as Metro 2033 (which I'd strongly recommend you play first by the way) and I'm not exactly ecstatic that the Ranger Mode DLC (hard mode) is a paid for extra, but it's still my top game of 2013.

I picked this up ages ago but hadn't played it. I gotta say this is probably one of the more well-done linear games I've ever played through. If you can get this cheaply, do so. You won't be disappointed.

It's awesome. You already know this. Everyone has said it's awesome. You don't need me to tell you. Just buy it already. :p

Huge world, massive amounts of side quests. If you're a completionist like me you can easily spend 200 hours. Only let down by a flimsy engine which crashes at the slightest provocation (like alt-tabbing).
