WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS AMAZING GAME?!
Disappointed by the latest update, I must say that it has significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the game. Several key aspects have been altered, and not for the better:

Weapon Damage: The update seems to have skewed the balance of weapon damage, resulting in frustratingly prolonged firefights where it feels like you're shooting at a brick wall instead of an opponent. This has turned what was once a fast-paced shooter into a tedious reload fest.

Jetpack Removal: The decision to remove jetpacks, a core feature that added verticality and excitement to gameplay, leaves many players scratching their heads. It was a unique aspect of the game that contributed to its appeal, and its absence is sorely felt.

Character Abilities: Another disappointing change is the removal of character abilities, which added depth and strategy to engagements. Without them, the gameplay feels stripped of its diversity and tactical options.

Movement Changes: The alterations to movement mechanics, such as the introduced reloading cancellation while walking, have had a detrimental impact on the overall smoothness and fluidity of gameplay. What was once a seamlessly immersive experience now feels clunky and disjointed.

This update has transformed what was once an outstanding and enjoyable game into a shadow of its former self. The unique features and smooth gameplay that set it apart have been sacrificed, leaving many players, myself included, contemplating whether it's worth continuing. It's a disappointing turn of events, and I'm seriously considering uninstalling the game altogether.

Early Access Review
It's good and unique... but not quite there yet.
My perspective on The Isle continues to evolve positively, bolstered by recent updates that have introduced a great new map, weather systems, and additional dinosaurs, alongside noticeable improvements in game stability. While random crashes persist, they occur less frequently, with server-wide crashes now more common than individual client/player crashes. While this may seem like an improvement, it remains a significant concern, as server-wide crashes still disrupt gameplay and undermine the overall experience.

Improvements and new criticism:
I'm pleased to note that previous issues regarding getting stuck have seen considerable improvement, largely attributed to the (absolutely beautiful) new map. Unlike the previous monotonous forest terrain, the new map offers greater visibility and navigational clarity, reducing instances of unintentional entrapment and enhancing overall gameplay flow.

Additionally, while the introduction of weather systems has added depth to the game, I must express my dislike for the mist/fog that often accompanies it, which can obstruct the entire field of view and hinder navigation. Furthermore, the frequent darkness throughout the map is a personal gripe, as I find daytime gameplay more enjoyable than navigating through the night.

Moreover, the presence of small, hostile birds and their rapid spawn time after killing an animal detracts from the immersion and can disrupt gameplay flow. These aspects, while minor in isolation, contribute to a less than ideal gaming experience.

Conclusion
In summary, while recent updates have brought about notable enhancements and addressed some longstanding concerns, The Isle still falls short of achieving a fully positive review. Continued efforts to stabilize the game and minimize disruptions caused by crashes are essential to realizing its full potential.

However, it's important to highlight the unique survival simulator experience that The Isle offers. For those who enjoy this genre, it may be worth considering once the bugs are ironed out. I remain cautiously optimistic about the game's future and look forward to further improvements that will elevate The Isle to a truly exceptional gaming experience.

I deeply regret buying Human: Fall Flat. The game is marketed as having cross-play between Xbox and PC, but this is completely false. PC and Xbox players cannot play together. Furthermore, even playing the game solo was a terrible experience. While the soundtrack on the loading screen is nice, finding a good match is difficult due to the lack of servers and players.

But even if you do manage to find a game, you may end up waiting for 20 minutes in a loading screen only to find yourself stuck. And even when you do join a game, it may not be what you were expecting. I joined a lobby that ended up being a roleplay server, with no indication of that in the lobby name or description. And to make matters worse, the other players were talking about "e-dating" and having weird personal conversations.

The game lacks any real objectives or sense of purpose, and the gameplay is a letdown. I was hoping for an arcade/cartoony feel with fun minigames, but instead, I found myself disappointed and wishing I could get my money back. I normally do not write reviews, but I had to warn others about this game's false marketing and lackluster gameplay. Don't waste your money on Human: Fall Flat.

Greetings,

Amazing story, good price when bought with EA play (don't forget to unsubscribe the subscription if you don't want to play other EA games. EA Play comes with a 4$ monthly fee)

Played it with a friend and really enjoyed the adventure.

LOVE the game. But the extremely long queue's are a problem.

Update 06/10/2021:
The queue's are getting better. Previous joins I had around a 10-15 minute wait.

+1 for me!
