Great game :)

Compared to many games that cost 100 USD+ and so on, this game is actually complete...

It has contents, it has a sense of difficulty, little to no bugs. It's great :) I expect more content with the DLCs

Early introduction, should you buy the game? No.

Here's why:

-There are only unofficial servers, all with different rules. This results in a great likelyhood of getting banned for rule-breaking.
-Community is toxic, on a Rust-level. Admins on the servers available take each opportunity banning you, and trolling is extremely common. Committing a mistake results in massive swearing
-Never leaves Early Access... Takes a eternity to get the updates out in terms of finishing the game. Should have stayed away from consumers until a full release.
-Extremely repetative... Like Call of Duty, you run around the small varations of maps, shooting etc, which after 500 hours becomes really boring.

I cannot stress it enough, but the community is really toxic. It is my third server at this stage I've personally been banned from for "Trolling" and such, which in definition was being a co-pilot in a heli, which wasnt against the rules...

Don't buy a game only to get banned and have the Authors of the game shake their shoulders when you confront them.

Not worth it

My experience of Foxhole is divided into pros and cons for a simple explenation as of why I have mixed feelings for the game but at the end don't suggest you buy it.


The Pros

The pros for the game is that it's under constant development, being updated with new vehicles and equipment. The maps are massive, and you get to experience a war which is determined by cooperation and a logistical system to aid the fronts with equipment.

It is truly a fun game if you have a few friends to play with and want to play for a few hours together.


The Cons

The cons for the game is a relatively toxic community... Within the team (Warden & Colonials) it's relatively peaceful, contrasting to you and the opposite team. The toxicity is within the community, which has gotten worse between the years. The second con is the logistical system in which the game is dependent on. For the ones who hasn't played, it's a system to supply the fronts in the war with equipment (Guns, explosives & equipment) which is created by resources gathered to craft them. The problem is the a lot of new players who are able to withdraw the rarest equipment (Satchel charges, RPG's & Heavy Explosives) and waste them immidietly, not understanding the rarity of it. Concluding the fact that most work done by logistics is for nothing due to the uninformed/bad players.

In conclusion, it's a great game in terms of being a developed game. However, the community & game mechanics being dependent on the community is what makes the game bad, as it's hard to make progress, forcing people to to get into clans hoarding resources.

The game is good in a sense that it has some additions of game content every now and then, which is good! For being a free game that is.

However, the only reason why this game is somewhat active is only because of the community of private servers. I around 10 minutes ago was kicked from an official server after two moderators argued with numerous people saying quote "We will not tell you when you break the rules from now on to everyone. You will be banned immidietly"... I argued with them, as I just joined 2 minutes prior to the quote...

I was kicked for arguing with moderators on their behavior. So to me, I believe the official staff of SCP:SL are simply people who applied with no competition whatsoever for the rank, judgning by their behavior and rudeness.

Just my personal opinion. There's other much better games that are free, or cost less than 5 pounds out there.

Pros:
-Free,
-Semi-active with updates
-Functional game (Not that glitchy)

Cons:
-Horrific staff on servers (From my experience) on official servers

Yes, that one single cons determined for my experience wether I like the game or not... Which I don't at this point anymore, sadly. Lots of potential!

Its a very fun game! I would give it 8/10 cause I hate when it comes updates! Cause then i have to wait 2H for the damm server to update! Other than that its awesome :D
