Skyrim... my favorite game. This game is great with its fantastic story, graphics, and absolutely fantastic soundtrack, which perfectly captures the Northern Skyrim. I have spent thousands of hours playing this game because there is always something to discover, and the wide range of mods is absolutely captivating. I am a bit disappointed that Bethesda tried to squeeze the maximum out of Skyrim instead of working on The Elder Scrolls VI...


On the borders with Cyrodiil, the player gets caught in the conflict of the Stormcloaks led by Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak and the Imperial soldiers led by General Tullius. Ulfric and others are captured and taken to Helgen, a fortress town where the execution of Ulfric, Stormcloaks, and the player is being prepared. The player's execution is interrupted by a Black Dragon named Alduin. Due to the chaos, everyone escapes, and the civil war for Skyrim's independence, led by Ulfric, begins again. Skyrim descends into greater chaos, plagued by civil war and now a dragon threat. The player is tasked with reaching the village of Riverwood, where a local resident asks them to report the incident from Helgen to Jarl of Whiterun, Balgruuf. He asks the player to help the court wizard obtain a dragonstone in the Bleak Falls Barrow. Upon the player's return, a dragon attacks the guard tower in Whiterun. The player, along with the city guard, rushes to help the attacked tower, and upon defeating the dragon, it is revealed that the player is Dragonborn, a hero who can absorb dragon souls.
The Greybeards, masters of the Way of the Voice, notice this and summon the Dragonborn to High Hrothgar to help him learn the abilities granted by the dragon blood. During the training, the Dragonborn is tasked with bringing the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller, the founder of the Way of the Voice. At the location where the horn was supposed to be, there was a message from a certain friend who was in Riverwood. The Dragonborn travels to the aforementioned village, where he meets one of the last members of the Blades, Delphine. However, she wants to verify if the Dragonborn is truly so, so they head to Kynesgrove, where the Dragonborn defeats a dragon and absorbs its power. Delphine reveals that the dragons are rising from the dead and sends the Dragonborn to the Thalmor Embassy, which should be the only one benefiting from the dragon threat. When the player fights their way into the Embassy, they find nothing but files about a certain Esbern, an archivist of the Blades. Delphine sends the Dragonborn to find him. When the Dragonborn leads Esbern to Delphine, it is revealed that an ancient prophecy about Alduin and the end of the world is coming true.
The way to defeat Alduin should be depicted on Alduin's Wall, which is located in the Temple of the Sky Haven. The trio immediately heads there after Esbern deciphers the dragon wall. It is then revealed that Alduin can only be defeated through the Dragonborn Shout, which was, however, forgotten. The Greybeards, masters of the Way of the Voice, who have helped in the search, point the Dragonborn to Paarthurnax. The Dragonborn heads to the Throat of the World, where the dragon Paarthurnax is. However, even he cannot help but directs the Dragonborn to retrieve the Scroll of the Ancients, which in the past sent Alduin to the future by the heroes of Skyrim. When the Dragonborn brings the scroll back to the Throat of the World, Paarthurnax tells them to look at it where it was last used. In the vision, the Dragonborn sees how the Ancient Nords sent Alduin to the future and also learns the Dragonborn Shout. Alduin himself notices this and flies to the Dragonborn. Although the Dragonborn defeats him, Alduin manages to escape back to Sovngarde, where he feasts on the souls of the dead. The Dragonborn is told that there is a dragon named Odahviing who could guide them to the gate leading to Sovngarde. With the help of Jarl of Whiterun, they trap Odahviing in Dragonsreach, where he promises to take them to Alduin's Sanctuary in exchange for release. When the Dragonborn enters Sovngarde, the Skyrim version of Valhalla, they head towards the Hall of Valor, where they meet the god of judgment, Tsun. He tells them that he will let them in only if they defeat him in a fair duel. After defeating Tsun, the Dragonborn enters and immediately meets the trio who tried to defeat Alduin in the past. They all gather and go to defeat Alduin, who is hiding in the mist, but the trio disperses the mist and defeats Alduin.

Skyrim is simply a great game with an absolutely fantastic soundtrack that is definitely worth the money. The graphics are still good even by today's standards, but they can be easily improved with graphical mods.
