It looks like Activision have done it again.

The return of the best shooter in the world is here and it's the best one yet. The guns feel balanced and fun to use. The maps have some of the best designs the series have seen and what could be better than the return to where all wars began - World War 2.

First Person Shooters have become all the same nowadays with bland and tired ideas like Player Unknown's Battlegrounds where it's not even fun - you can just be shot at from the other side of the map and there's no Team Deathmatch. Or Battlefield where you can just be killed by a tank and the Team Deathmatch isn't even good. It's nice to see Activision return every year to show them how it's done.

They've updated everything in every way. The graphics look photo realistic - almost as if you are there in the action. The soundtrack rivals that of Undertale and the netcode is rock solid. Emphasis on classic boots-on-the-ground™ gameplay gives the series a fresh, yet familier feel.

While the reception to this game has been negative, it's because all of the kids these days are used to the casual shooters like Player Unknown's Battlegrounds or Counter Strike Global Offensive. It might be difficult to get used to the hardcore fast paced action of Call of Duty if you've grown up with the aforementioned kiddie games.

To conclude, this is defiantly the best Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare 3. I will absolutely be picking it up when it launches on the 3rd of November on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
