At the time of writing this review, i've played just under two hours of the game on Steam Deck.

The game runs at an almost constant 90fps at 90hz - 10W on the OLED, however, the only issue I have found is that the text is currently too small/not optimized for smaller screens such as the Steam Deck. Hopefully this will change as this is a perfect handheld game.

Pros:

Smooth fluid combat
Combat whilst simple, offers a lot of flexibility with combos and special abilities
Great animations and artwork
A lot of customization with your character and gear, the gear shows on your character when equipped.
Quite challenging, yet rewarding.
A nice sense of progression.

Cons, so far:

Text on Steam Deck is too small
No match making system to play with randoms
Widescreen resolutions are not currently supported

Conclusion:
For £8 (Current price), the game is an absolute steal! I cannot comment on the 'end game' or if there is one, but if you're looking for a game that's a 2D brawler/Monster Hunter/Castle Crashers/RPG, buy the game now.

As someone who's not too familiar with Poker hands, I thought this game may be intimidating. I was wrong.
The game is very easy to get the hang of. You can easily see the different hands, as well as their order in how many points they provide.

Super addictive and runs flawlessly on Steam Deck.

Leaving a positive review to balance the reviews out. There are a lot of losers, complaining they can't play due to the server's being hammered, so they rate the game negatively. I think we can expect games that have been hyped will not be playable for the first few days, due to the number of people attempting to connect. Even some of the most experienced game companies (Blizzard for example) still experience issues like this when launching a new product.

Get over yourselves.

Perfect remaster. Runs super smooth at 90hz on the SD OLED. Must have if you played all those years ago.

Great point n click game that doesn't hold your hand. Highly recommended for fans of the Broken Sword series
