Huge nostalgia trip, i got the chance to play the first games expansion missions in this remaster. I really like some of the new music they made. I look forward to more remasters of the other games in the command and conquer franchise.

when creating the GTA online social club account, you are instructed to link your steam account with the social club account by using a code. any sane steam user will use the steam code redeem page and enter said code. it will then tell that code is not valid. thats an online username wasted, and an email account wasted.
when you enter gta online you then get prompted for that code. oh. wonderful. paste and click. that code has already been used. no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. then why make me link my steam account by code if said code was to be used within the game?
now i get to look forward to getting my email spammed with now irrelevant content. you wasted my time, my hard drive space, and my friends money because your order of operations was pure monkey ♥♥♥♥.
single player campaign is dumb, having to play through some meth head characters story to get to making big enough amounts of money for all the good stuff is another waste of time and hard drive space.

the leftover geometry of destroyed terrain is messy and cant create a level surface for placing pipeline struts consistently. you cant determine your distances to resources that are slathered up the wall that are far and few between on humoungous maps. there is a steep curve in difficulty settings and play is best accomplished with others to get anything accomplished at the beginning of the game. when you can only select one mission and cant do it alone, you have a timer until the assignment changes. there are four classes in the game and two of them are designed for shooting, but not traversing. if you are not one of these two classes you can traverse well, but if you get trapped in a swarm youll die, a lot, until what meager amounts of experience in failed missions gets you a level up, you can upgrade your gear. but you also have to collect currency and alternate materials for these upgrades which you retain only from successful missions. you also have to contend with a lot of darkness, with regenerating stock of flares the size of footballs that cant keep an area of 10 meters lit for more than 20 seconds.
