Quite a different kind of incremental game. It's not your average clicker or idler as it is neither. It's more akin to Donut County but with a classic incremental prestige/run-based progression system that is very well balanced, doesn't feel overly exhaustive but also doesn't make you reset your progress as the main means to get any further.
Additionally there is a short story to be told and a few puzzles and secrets to discover that overall add to the surreal and slightly creepy atmosphere of the game. If you feel like you've played every incremental game under the sun already, this one definitely should be a welcome change and worth your time.

A rather relaxing climbing game with an interesting story if you choose to read all the letters you may find in the game or you just take in the quite breathtaking but timeless visuals and let the environment speak for itself.

The Steam Controller, the simultaneously most hated and most loved game controller ever made may soon rest in peace, finally after more than 10 years.
You did your deed well, may you forever be remembered through your successor, the Steam Controller.

Cato is an obvious play at the myths that cats always land on their feet and toast always lands on its buttered side. Together this makes for an interesting anti-gravity game mechanic that, joined with exceptional level design, results in interesting puzzles to overcome. The majority of the levels are on the easier side, especially if you are not new to puzzle platformers, but beginning with world 3 there are quite some brain teasers that challenge your skills but not in a frustrating way.
If you love cats and adore this art style that is a mix of 3d and pixel art I can definitely recommend giving this game a shot.

Stuffo is truly one of those games I would call a hidden gem. Cleverly designed puzzles with unique mechanics that progressively get harder, accompanied by high quality, crunchy pixel art and a surprisingly good soundtrack. Especially the last levels are real brain teasers with interesting uses of the available blocks.
Overall a brilliant puzzler definitely more people should take a look at.

After 8 years collecting dust in my library, I finally managed to play this masterpiece.
While the first part of the game is a meticulously crafted remake of the original Half-Life, with the Xen chapter they truly made it their own game. Pushing the Source engine to its absolute limits, life on Xen has never been this beautiful. It brings some of the HL2 feeling to the original game and expands on the lore for a much more complete and fleshed-out end game experience. Finishing this game actually brings significance to G-Man's words and makes it feel like an actual accomplishment.
Just be aware that this game has some soul-rending completionist achievements on hand that make you question your life choices if you decide to get them The Real Way™ and some technical issues on Linux that are better documented on ProtonDB. [Apparently the random but rare crashes if running with Proton and visual artifacts/broken lighting on the native version were finally fixed with the Resonance Decade update so this does no longer apply]
Though this didn't affect my enjoyment of the game and would still highly recommend it as a way to relive Half-Life in a modern way, without even speaking of the great Workshop additions people have come up with and multiplayer support this game brings to the table.

A not too hard puzzle game for the not too dimensionally challenged.
Some very clever level design accompanied with paper folding ASMR and a touching story.
Though most outstanding for me is the impressive soundtrack and voice acting you don't hear in every other game of this scale.
A lovingly crafted indie gem worth picking up (and folding out).

A great iteration upon its prequel Lone Sails that tries to complete the story that is introduced in the first game while sticking to the same recipe but fleshing out the mechanics and world-building. Consequently this game should really only be played after completing the original and not be seen as a standalone title.
Similar to games that narrate the story 'silently' through its environment its interpretation leaves a lot of room for speculation and can arguably be a bit too vague. Apparently the artbook of the first game reveals a bit more of the world's background and story but I wish this was better translated into the games itself. On the other hand these games are arguably more about the (fantastic) gameplay experience where Okomotive undoubtedly did an outstanding job, again.
