For me - I really enjoyed this game and I heartily endorse it. The worlds are crafted with a lot of love and there is a lot of freedom to approach the missions. I just wish that there was more of the universe to explore and I hope that the devs make a second one.

Move over L4D2, this is the real deal of 20's. Forget zombies, kill bugs, forget human survivors, there are only dwarfs. If you say otherwise, you are a leaf-lover.

ROCK AND STONE, BROTHA.

LET'S GET RICH!

Early Access Review
Steam Nomination Review: I played RoR1 and I thought it couldn't get better. RoR in 3D is even better and even more so with friends.

How they've managed to morph it from 2D to 3D is amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

Review in 10 seconds:
7/10 - Would recommend, but caveat with flaws.

Notes And Opinions:
- Diamond in the rough
- Faithful to tabletop, but that also means slow gameplay
- Good core gameplay
- Good creatives and artstyle
- GIANT SHOOTY MECHS - grindy but the thrill is in collecting them all, a la Pokemon
- Main story is very cliched, characters are polar "ideals" without taking into complexity of lore
- Technical issues still present - Eats up lots of GPU + Memory leaks
- End game leaves a lot to be desired

Verdict:
Much like Shadowrun Returns, this game is a diamond in the rough. I'd expect to see more from HBS as the franchise matures, much like SR: Dragonfall and SR: HK.

Same as my review for Fallout 4. We already had this discussion two years ago. We do not need to have a discussion about paid mods again 2 years later on. I have to penalize the game to discourage the company. I take no joy in doing so, but this is a bad decision.

On Creation Club, We already had this discussion in 2015. Why do we need to have a discussion in 2017 again?

The game is fine, though flawed - the publisher isn't and this review reflects my renewed views towards the publisher.

Update: Nope - still against Creation Club.

Where do I begin for this review? Was it the stale perfume in the air or the reek of old cigarettes as I graced the shabby police lobby? Regardless, LA Noire takes you for a ride in a believable city of post-war America and leaves you wanting more out of the corrupt, crime ridden police force of old (Although some say, in the present too).

This games makes me believe that Tweed and 3 piece suits were still a thing. And that if I closed my eyes with the music, I would be in the 1930's.

10/10, would LA Confidential, ahem, Noire again.

I normally do not write reviews despite having 800 games in my library. I write reviews when there are issues too big to ignore.

And Overkill has made this one to be so. Always remember that gaming is a two way street; The game gives life to the community and the community supports the game. So when you try and mess around with that structure by making parts of the game untenable (read, microtransactions) and going back on your word (Remember, you said no microtransactions?), don't expect your community to respond well.

Overkill, are you overkilling you community with your greed? Yes. This used to be a shining example on how to do DLC. Now it's a shining case study of how not to do it.

Listen to your community. If you need to drop support for PayDay 2. drop it. Develop PayDay 3 and make it as awesome as PayDay 2 in its early days and you'll see revenue coming in again. Stop milking your previous goodwill generated. It's non-existent now.

Hope you lot are happy with how you've destroyed the currency that's worth the most to get a few more greenbacks.

Your community's trust.

Good luck gaining it back.

EDIT:

The circumstances have changed since my last review and I take back my previous review.

That being said, this game is even better than it was before - always a blast to play with friends.

I don't normally write reviews. I have about 700 games in my library.

Valve/Bethesda's announcement of paid mods made me write one. I disagree with their approach. My reasons are mainly echoed in this comment: http://www.reddit.com/r/explainlikeimfive/comments/33tlt0/eli5_valvesteam_mod_controversy/cqo8zhb

Revoke paid mod content. Add a donate button. Let us decide. Stop taking cuts from the heart of your community.
