PSA: If I PM you saying I "reported you by mistake" or anything suspicious like that, it's not me. Urgent as these scam messages may sound, you have to stay calm and look for the cracks, like out-of-character typing styles and a lack of clarity on where or why they supposedly reported you. Most importantly, don't interact with the alleged "Steam Admin" in PM chat, and especially not on non-Steam sites. If you suspect that your friend's account was stolen, and you know them on another social site like Twitter or Discord, message them there first just to be sure.
