I enjoyed this game personally but I cannot recommend to buy it. It is a technical mess, requiring multiple technical solutions to even complete the story. Getting stuck, broken characters, bad AI, FPS locked at 60 because devs don't know about time.deltatime. Gameplay is good when it actually works, with my only complaint being the first 3/4 of the game is quite easy even on the hardest difficulty and then the last few missions become insanely more difficult. This is not helped by the fact that pickups for some reason despawn when you die. So, if you ever have to redo a segment, the original health pickups, guns, ammo, etc will often not be there after respawning.

This game is definitely good but plagued with many crash-inducing glitches. Worth it if you're willing to put up with the technical issues.

This game has really fun combat and characters but I cannot recommend it for one reason. The online play is atrocious, The game gives extreme priority to those with terrible internet connection, giving you a huge disadvantage if you have good internet or are playing in your correct region. I have regularly faced players with 400 Ms+ ping and it really ruins the competitive nature of the game. These type of opponents will be lagging all over the screen and then randomly get a hit on you before you even see them swing. On the other hand, if you have a good connection, you cannot hit these players while they're lagged out so they have a massive advantage. If you and if someone has bad paying, it is pretty much impossible to beat them.

Disclaimer: I am reviewing this game as someone who played in VR with a flight stick setup.

If you are looking for a multiplayer Star Wars ship pvp game, you are going to be disappointed. However, because you want to feel what it feels like to fly and x-wing or tie-fighter, then you will not be disappointed. The campaign is quite good, with a somewhat forgettable story but great locations and action segments. Every ship is customization and has a fully modeled interior with working gauges, screens, and controls. I recommend playing in realistic UI mode in order to get the best experience and rely on the ships real HUD. The flight is not arcade style and is instead designed to be more of a "flight simulator" set in the star wars universe, complete with power management, missile countermeasures, emergency power shifting, and shield concentrating. This game was like none I have ever played before, and feels incomparable to other games. It is much more akin to a disney ride than I traditional video game. If you've always wanted to feel what its like be a star wars pilot, I recommend this 10/10.
