TLDR: This game is amazing, if you enjoying RPGs like Baldur's Gate 3 i strongly advise you to try out this game aswell.

Detailed Review: After sinking 70+ hours in this game (On a single playthrough) i can confidently say P5R is one of my favorite games of all time. From the soundtrack to the story, this game provides you a very smooth and enjoyable experience with both funny/sarcastic and serious dialogue to make it easier for you to insert yourself in the MC role.

However, if you are going in fully blind (like i did) you will most likely not be able to complete everything in a single playthrough, as the game is massive and there are a lot of secrets very easy to miss. I myself missed an entire part of the game because i couldn't reach the required stats with a certain npc until a certain time.

The game has its problems like every other game out there, but i overall enjoyed my experience and therefore im writing a review about it. I will separate this review in 3 parts, the free part of the game and the expansions, and the seasons, i hope you find it helpful.

Base game:
The base game (Free Version) doesnt have a lot of guidance to do if you are a new player, you might be "stuck" without knowing what to do, and to be fair, there`s not really any objective in the base game alone. You can play base gamemodes like strikes/crucible/gambit but you only have access to 1 raid and 1 dungeon (which are the most fun gamemodes imo), i should also say you dont have access to a campaign unless you`ve bought a dlc.


Expansions:
While expensive, the expansions are the main part of the game, all the expansions grant access to at least 1 raid and 1 dungeon + a campaign and some secrets hidden in the destinations. If you are thinking on buying expansions make sure you know this:
-Some parts of the expansions you buy may get "Vaulted" in the future (Which means they are unplayable for a certain amount of time)


Seasons:
Seasons are ~3 months, there are 4 seasons a year, and the first season is during the expansion release (which means it will probably have less content). Buying the season pass (10€) is usually saying you will play the game for at least the next 2 and maybe 3 months, seasons include 2 exotics (1 quest and 1 from battlepass), weekly "lore" quest about whats happening in the world of the game, and a 6 player activity with matchmaking that is usually pretty casual. (If you buy the deluxe edition of the expansion you get all 4 seasons for the year)
