Good fast paced fun. Lots of guns with lots of attachments, which is exactly what I wanted.

Campaign was fun, satisfying, and an interesting change of pace even compared to MW2019. Took me 8 hours to complete on Hardened, changing to lower difficulties when I needed. A lot of the missions had very unique mechanics that change the game from the simple FPS it's known as, and I never found myself getting bored with the gameplay.

Multiplayer, aside from the Camping population, is very intense. The objective based gameplay like Hostage Rescue (think Rainbow Six Siege), and Hardpoint (think Halo's King of the Hill), require a bit of strategic thinking and reward smart play. Team Deathmatch and Free-For-All are my favorite modes for a quick no-frills gunfight, and are just as exciting as previous installments. Ground War returns and is just as good if not better. With the recent failures of a certain "32v32 Flag Capturing Game Series", this mode is a breath of fresh air, even if it's not exactly as tactical as the aforementioned series. Bring a few friends for extra fun. Invasion is a unique PvPvE experience, Ground war but with Bots, less vehicles, and is a great way to level up your account and weapons.

Spec Ops also makes a return, and unlike MW2019 (in my humble opinion) this mode is actually playable. The former had issues with very tanky enemies and terrible checkpoints in my experience, while the latter, while going from 4 total players to 2 for better or worse, is still a lot more of a cohesive, challenging, and satisfying mode. At launch there are only 3 missions however, which a friend and I completed in a very quick manner. As MW2 Seasons progress, more missions will be added, as well as highly anticipated (by me) Raids, which are 3 player, and possibly more challenging long form Spec Ops missions.

Warzone and DMZ released shortly after my initial review, and they both added more exciting gameplay and even some moments I've never experienced in a game prior. With the addition of the Assimilation feature, I found players who weren't bent on killing immediately upon contact, and were willing to team up to win the game. I've never been one to play a lot of Battle Royale but this was one of the best games of one I've had. There's also the Escape from Tarkov-esque DMZ mode, which I found to be a little less fast paced and anxiety inducing, yet still challenging and satisfying to play through. I enjoy the idea of this mode feeling like a large open world Spec Ops mission, with so many different activities and side content to fill the time, it's a real blast to go in, loot, extract it all, then repeat with a new personal objective. It's certainly a lot less hardcore than Escape From Tarkov, as it takes a lot more to kill a player, and it's less punishing to die, especially since you're able to revive your dead teammates even after their timers reach 0, but it doesn't detract from the fun, unless you're looking for complete realism.

Overall, my experience with the MW2 launch has been a great experience, granted as most recent titles have also had glitches and bugs (I've experienced several crashes, most linked to graphical settings) [EDIT] As of the time of this edit I've had a few crashes during DMZ, luckily near the start and while solo. I played Warzone and DMZ with friends and none of us had any crashes. Besides all that, the gameplay and content so far has been rewarding, fun, and worth the money.

So intense it could be classified as a horror game, Sandstorm is an excellent choice for realism enthusiasts, milsim gamers, and firearm fetishists (you know who you are). This game contains a ton of customization for your character(s') outfits, weaponry, and many combat roles to choose from to suit your playstyle and the team's needs. The attention to detail in this game is next level, with many small touches to the game such as staged reloads, multiple different ways to breach a door or blow up an objective, etc. that make playing it that much more invigorating.

This game can be very punishing as deaths can happen quickly, and you will usually need to wait until your team captures an objective or enough of your team is killed to respawn. This forces you to think carefully about your next moves, and value your life a lot more. There are modes for both Co-Op/Solo PvE and PvP, as well as a firing range for testing weaponry. There is also mod support on mod.io, and custom community servers for hosting them.

A game I would recommend for any fan of Survival FPS games, games with heaps of immersion, world-building and supernatural elements. The story and setting of S.T.A.L.K.E.R stands up very well, being one of my favorites out of every game I've played. However this comes with many caveats. I cannot recommend the Steam version of this game as, stated by many players, it crashes often and is rife with bugs. The GOG version of the game is much more stable, therefore I would urge to get it there.

To graphics nerds, this game may be a hard pick as it came out in 2007, so if that is an issue I highly recommend playing with the Radiophobia mod, I currently use Radiophobia 2, as 3 is still in development at the time of this review. This mod adds several gameplay, visual, and other improvements to the game, increasing immersion and gameplay possibilites.

A true example of strong community support and years of content and counting, Warframe is a marvel of a game, and an amazing value for any person. With a huge selection of content to undertake, such as open worlds, space combat and a great story questline, many players can find something to enjoy.

The gameplay flows extremely well, and combat can be addicting, the agile movement mechanics and combat style variety whether it be guns, bows, rockets, or many different melee types, make for an excellent pace to each mission. To add to the dynamic gameplay are the dozens of Warframes to choose from, each with unique abilities so that every player can find their mains.

The game is constantly evolving and getting new content, and the developers are extremely transparent with the community, using their feedback to add/remove things from the game as necessary. I'm constantly recommending this game to my friends so we can squad up and complete missions/quests together, and also just to let them experience the game for themselves.

I have sunk so many hours into this game and I have felt them all pay off even now, and I can look back on a lot of good memories I've had playing it. Grab a few friends, take some time to learn the mechanics, and see how deep this game really goes.

This game is one of the best RPG's i've played, it takes everything that should be included into an RPG and puts it together! [I'd recommend getting the Restored Content mod in the workshop, to enhance the experience.]

Created by Obsidian, also known for Fallout New Vegas and the first Fallout games, which are in my opinion some of the best Fallout games ever created, and Bioware of Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and of course the first installment of KotoR, this adventure was my childhood, and it improves on many of the things the first game did amazingly on.

STORY: In a story a very long time before any of the movies, you play as an exile of the Jedi order and a veteran of the catastrophic Mandalorian Wars, retracing your past to stop the destruction of the Jedi, or to destroy it yourself. You don't even need to know about Star Wars to play this game, as the universe for the most part explains itself. You meet a large cast of companions all with their own extremely interesting and unique backgrounds, many holding secrets that you must learn from travelling along with them, and granting you lots of added bonuses and help with their specific skill sets. This game has an astounding amount of freedom as well, you can choose the light or dark, but there will be many choices that aren't so black or white. This game will make you think, and it does it perfectly.

GAMEPLAY: It takes very little getting used to the Dungeons & Dragons-eque battle system, using multiple stats to build your character the way you want to, with many choices of getting past obstacles. You can brute force your way through enemies, (especially with the Force.), however some might give you the option to talk your way out of a bad situation using persuasion. In dialogue with NPCs, they feel very alive and real, many of them have real character to them and a backstory, and your decisions affect their lives very powerfully, for better or worse. Your companions can also be affected by your actions, and their lives will change with yours. The combat takes turn based combat elements played out real time, where you can take time to plan your next move as the battle goes on, much like Final Fantasy with active battling.

GRAPHICS: For it's time, this game was a pretty sight, nowadays it still holds up... for the most part. There are really cool lightsaber effects and force power effects during combat, the landscapes look alright but there are some Workshop additions you could use to spice things up graphically, which certainly helps. There are lots of space areas, which are very neat settings to look at.

FREEDOM: This game excels at making you feel like your own person. You get to shape your own backstory, around your own personal choices and goals. There is plentiful dialogue choices you can choose from in almost any situation you find yourself in. Your character can be whatever you want and deal with any situation the way you choose, with a boatload of skills and powers to choose from, plus many different Classes, you get to play how YOU want to. This game has very high replayability, if you want to go back in again using a different alignment or class.

KotoR 2 is one of my all time favorite games for good reason, it's exciting and addicting, the story is jaw dropping and deep, and it makes you as a player feel like you're there, like you are changing things and people, and that's where the excellent writing and storytelling immerse you into this fantastic creation. I'd recommend you buy this game, because it could change the way you see video games, and maybe the way you see life. Don't believe me? Find out yourself.
