ubi ruined this game, dont do it go play literally any other shooter

ok so i went into this game apprehensive of how much i'd enjoy it. main reason being the art style more specifically the character art. i wont say that the art has grown on me because it hasnt and i expected that to sort of ruin the experience for me, especially because one of the worst looking characters in my opinion was the main character. but heres why this is a positive review: that is my only negative point i can think of after beating the game and the dlc and briefly grinding post game to get a full set of maxed out equipment for my build because i felt the need. the gameplay, levelling, difficulty, story, animation, writing (both the humorous and emotional parts), premise, world, music and character build paths of which there are many. this game just did not miss for me.

I will say that the DLC is kind of a must because the story doesnt have a proper resolution without it imo but the resolution with the DLC is 11/10 with an epilogue that goes beyond what most game ending ever bother to do. that said the game is honestly criminally under priced for what it is so i really didnt mind buying the DLC at all.

sadly my life is getting in the way of me 100%ing this game right now but it is 1st on my list of games to 100% and after i get my 100% file I will also try some new save files where i do some other builds and will probs update this review then but the post game i have done so far has been really fun so i dont epect to add much more than another positive paragraph where i drool about the post game.

definite must play if you're like me and you've become very dissatisfied with triple A games and their heartless mindless dribble of ♥♥♥♥ that just gets worse every year. this game healed my love for video games and i dont say that lightly

get the console version ive played both and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the pc version is a buggy mess. hourly crashes if not more (game run 144 fps highest settings so it isnt hardware). this game just doesnt work on pc
