Honestly, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a masterpiece that has completely ruined other RPGs for me. It doesn't feel like a standard game, it’s a full on D&D simulation where your choices actually rewrite the story in real-time, not just give you a different ending cutscene. I loved that the combat is a creative playground where I could solve problems by shoving goblins into pits or stacking explosive barrels rather than just spamming attacks. The world is gorgeous, the acting is incredible, and the companions feel like real, flawed people. Whether you're a D&D vet or new to the genre, this is a 10/10 experience you can't miss - just be prepared to lose a few hundred hours of your life.

Oh, and the soundtrack… a true work of gaming art.  I didn't think I would be into it at first and the price tag still being the same as release a couple years on, really put doubts in my mind about buying it.

Just buy it.

Make drugs, sell drugs, beat your friends with a randomly acquired baseball bat, run from cops, make more drugs, sleep and repeat - Hire randoms to do your dirty work, launder money, buy a saucepan, put it on your head, make more drugs, sell more drugs, repeat.

Game is probably great with mods - however it forces you to install them to your C: Drive. No vanilla way to change it every other way is complicated and doesn't work. I will recommend this when they allow you to chose your mod download folder but until then its short play garbage

EDIT:
I have now found a way to utilise more space on my C: drive. Installed the mods played a couple of the Ukraine war servers - fantastic gameplay (console players ruin it completely as expected but hey oh)

Now the issue is the Bohemia hosting itself. Crashes every few hours for however long, constantly waiting in queues for 30 mins+ only to get kicked for the servers all going down.

This game is actually very good. Plagued with issues, which mostly turn out to be out of Bohemia's control. Being DDOS'd which explains the server connectivity issues. Sure - they could probably invest in better DDOS protection but that is by the by.

The modded servers are fantastic - without them this game would be nothing, and the graphics are also pretty good. Iv had my issues getting into this game for multiple reasons - but the modern day mods make this game one of the best MilSim games out there.

Longhorn go BLAM

I played a while back, and decided to pick it up again this morning.

I have come to the conclusion that this game is not anywhere near finished and likely never will be. The bugs that were present 1 or so years ago are still very much present today. There has been MINIMAL content added, and you find yourself with literally nothing to do. The controls are clunky and the graphics are poorly optimised. They have what id assume to be a dedicated studio, with dedicated employees - and their lack of progress is worrying. Its so overpriced for what it is, it begs the question, are they milking all the cash they can out of it before abandoning it as a half finished project?

You are given equipment that you will never use, such as your sidearm, and to a lesser extent - your taser. Their idea of a day in the life of a police officer is to purely issue parking tickets and i have to say id rather watch paint dry. You get marked down for stupid things, like using your sirens to respond to an incident..

That being said, it does have some good points. The police computer is pretty intuitive, and I like the way the speed gun works.

If i could, I'd refund this game in a heartbeat.

If you're looking for multiplayer police experience id try out FiveM, a multiplayer client for GTA V.
If you're looking for a singleplayer police experience that you can customise, there is LSPDFR also for GTA V.

I appreciate the effort, game devs. But this just really isnt it.

This game taught me there is no such thing as a civilian. Only an extra target.

This game is exactly the same as its predecessor, however, it couldn't be more different.

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD I CAN NEVER PLAY BATTLEFIELD OR CALL OF DUTY AGAIN.

This game makes those 2 'AAA' titles feel like crayon scribbles compared to a Monet or Van Gogh.

Pros: everything. from the squad based play, perfect UI, and the photo-realistic graphics - not to mention the combat realistic damage and game mechanics.

Cons: For a game in which the main focus is team speak and proper coordination, there is little in the way to only match with people who speak your language (joining a squad full of french or Russians who rudely don't speak any language but their own even on English servers), and of course there are those who believe they can just play the game with no headset whatsoever (burn forever in the eternal fires of hell).

But don't take my review for truth, go and buy it. you will not be disappointed.
