Beware the Alien, the Mutant, the Heretic...

The player base is so dedicated, they managed to bully PlayStation into not killing the game, Incredible work fellas.

I can play 40k with my mates all over the world, very nice.

Although the game is flawed, it is fun. However, despite fixing the server issues, the game is still online only. Only buy this if you have a good internet connection, or don't plan on playing it offline at the time of posting. This review will change to positive when Offline is added.

Also as a note, unsure if this is Starbreeze's fault or Deep Silver's.

Fun and cheap, wish there was more though. (But then again it's £2 so ♥♥♥♥ it, buy the damn game)

You can shoot guns as a knight and then propose to your special someone, 10/10

VOID Interactive released RoN into "1.0" which should suggest that major problems would be fixed, notably the AI being unbalanced and bugs being squashed. However this isn't the case.

When the game functions as intended, it's truly a great Tactical Co-op experience with Friends (or with the Command-able AI), however it rarely functions properly.


Aim-locking SWAT through walls
Shooting at SWAT when a wall/door should realistically block the weapon from being raised
Shooting at SWAT through walls like they have X-Ray Vision.


Wandering off all together to a random location on some maps, despite you needing them to stay on your position.
Wandering off alone on some maps, resulting in them dying in stupid ways.
Being awful at throwing/shooting grenades into rooms.
Not understanding their pistol has no ammo (because you can equip 0 pistol ammo) and still trying to use it (either when a primary is out of ammo or with a shield).
Not reacting to gunfire all the time.
Not properly covering teammates (AI or the Player).
Trying to use Pepperball guns like a normal rifle (and getting themselves killed like idiots).
And sometimes when they breach into a room they give up mid-way through to have a rest.


On top of this, issues such as cosmetics clipping, missing HUD Icons (Beanbag shotgun and Certain Cosmetics) as well as disgusting usage of fugly AI Art (Despite making enough money to be able to commission artists, or at least host an Art Contest) is just the cherry on top.


I wouldn't recommend purchasing this game outside of a sale, and even then I'd wait probably 6 months after this review is released. However, even then you'd still probably need a mod to fix the AI from terminating you. Buyer Beware.

Is it as good as the other two Max Payne games? Maybe not, idk.

But is it a good game? Yes!

It's literally less than £1, yeah it's worth it lmao.
