You basically buy this game for the customization achievements for your profile, background and trading cards. Don't expect much after buying it

Got this game as a gift and it's probably one of the most fun co-op shooters out there! Truly a surprise gem of 2024!

Deserves the hype it gets but do wish there are more stuff to do in the end game.

The Good

+ The gunplay feels amazing! Using guns have some weight and power to them.
+ Movement is fluid most of the time. You'll be running and diving a lot of times but it doesn't really feel like a chore but more like juking opponents
+ Pretty fun reward system up to a point (you always have something to look forward to when unlocking new strategems AKA abilities)
+ The GRAPHICS IS SO GOOD! From the explosions to the tiny details of the planets, you'll be taking plenty of scrrenshots.
+ There is a fun mix of objectives with each mission. Keeps it being monotonous.
+ Pretty easy to join an online lobby. Only takes a few sec with autofinder
+ Tons of cosmetics to grind for.

The Bad

- First thing that people are wary of is the Kernel anti-cheat that comes with the game. it also made me hesitant to try it and I do notice some slowdown in my system from time to time
- Once you unlock the strategems, there's not really much incentive to play (Hope this gets addressed in future updates
- Lots of cases of dropped connection and lag spikes
- Early levels can be a bit grindy - especially if you only have limited strategems. (once you do 7 and plus, it's much easier to get money and exp but you will have unlocked most of the stuff you wanted by then)

All in all, a super great game and I'm happy that it got the hype it did. Highly recommend!

Got this game in a bundle and was decently surprised. Took around 5 hours to beat and get most achievements. Feels like the right amount of time to play and did not overstay its welcome

The game is basically a "cleaning" game with a mix of platforming and light combat. For majority of the game, it was pretty zen because there is no enemies or danger. However, you later meet some enemies then get access to a pulse gun and lure bomb.

Story is basically that the two protagonists are stranded on an unknown planet and discover "gunk" related to a civilization that was there before them - nothing really mindblowing

The Good

+ The best part of this game: the GORGEOUS ENVIRONMENT! Was genuinely surprised with the amount of times I had to take a pause (and screenshot) of the surroundings.
+ Exploration is rewarded by materials you can use to upgrade your equipment which means that there are no "collectibles". If you wish to blaze through the game, you are not really punished by missing out on hidden collectibles.
+ Pretty simple gameplay and can be relaxing for the most part
+ One of the characters is wearing crocs!

The Bad

- Encountered a few bugs (forever falling off an edge, invisible elevator, etc) ~ nothing too bad
- The bickering of the two protagonist is pretty annoying
- story is pretty forgettable, cutscene animation can be janky

All in all, a welcome surprise and a good hidden gem. Would recommend playing it if you can get it for a discount.

Took me years to finally play Subnautica and it was awesome! The exploration of deep sea and building bases was definitely addictive. Game had a decent story mission as well but the world was the bread and butter of the experience.

The Good

+ The world was truly immersive. You can enjoy just travelling around and enjoying the ocean environment.
+ Very Unique biomes (mushroom kingdom, jellyfish biome, safe shallows, etc.) They were all very memorable and come with their own fauna and flora.
+ Progression feels satisfying. From crafting a basic oxygen tank to building a colossal submarine
+ Exploration is always rewarded with new things to discover
+ Base building was a great surprise. There were limited tools but you can craft some pretty cool bases with some creativity.
+ You can grow your own plants and hatch your own animals
+ Very scary experience with different bosses and dark deep sections
+ great accessibility options

The Bad

- The game focuses a lot on crafting so it was annoying that you can only craft one thing at a time. There is no option to craft multiples of one thing at once.
- Wish there were more options for base building like decor and more room styles. I think it was a different aspect of the game that would have elevated it further
- Alien complexes were a bore to go through since they looked the same and was like a maze. Wish that it was more distinct and there was faster land travelling option.

All in all, a true masterpiece of gaming! Highly recommend.

Really wanted to give this game a chance but it felt mediocre right from the get-go. It focuses on an epic featuring the Hindu gods and their lore, but the main story with the protagonist feel sub par.

The Good

+ Focuses on Hindu gods that guide the protagonist in her journey to save her brother (haven't really seen any other game that does this)
+ Graphics is pretty decent for an indie studio

The Bad

- Feels like a lot of the dialogue goes nowhere and are filler
- combat feels very clunky

Would not recommend it as I found it mediocre. Might be decent if you can get it on a bargain

Wow. Pretty memorable experience for a 4 hour game. Final act of the game had my heart pumping and excited to see the end.

The Good

+ Some scenes and locations are gorgeous (even when they don't use a lot of color)
+ Can be played in short bursts
+ Some memorable tense moments throughout your playthrough

The Bad

- better to watch a guide on some puzzles if you feel stuck

All in all, I recommend giving INSIDE a go. It usually goes on sale pretty darn cheap and is considered a must play for the narrative-platformer genre.

SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT. SUPER HOT.

HAHA! In all seriousness, this is a pretty fun and short experience. Definitely a memorable game with fun gunplay mechanic (time moves very slowly if you don't move)

The Good

+ Storytelling very similar to portal and other valve games, Get creepy at times to be honest. Very memorable
+ 4 gun weapons and different melee weapons to throw as well (simple but still fun)
+ Can be finished in one sitting but has challenges and endless modes if you want to play more

The Bad

- Some run in endless mode feels destined to fail but that comes with the random generated variations i guess

Definitely recommend this game on the story experience alone- especially if you can get it for a few cents

I've been looking for a game to replace Tradewinds ,one of my old-school favorites, and this game managed to scratch that nostalgic itch. It has you going around places to get that dopamine hit once you buy low and sell high. In the end game, you basically create trade routes that automate the process after establishing mines/farms so that you can create more complicated products and sell them to towns.

The Good

+ Pixel art style is pretty good. Island locations are vivid and colorful
+ Addicting trading loop!
+ Different ships with varying storage sizes, speed, fuel consumption. Art style of each is also pretty good
+ Different encounters with NPCs give a fresh break from all the trading

The Bad

- UI gets pretty annoying at times (can't sort inventory, can't skip dialogue, can't move or rescale menu size in map) - it get frustrating when you just want to navigate because the Ui hinders a lot of visibility
- Biggest bummer compared to tradewinds = No sea combat. There's nothing really interesting that will happen from point A to B.
- I wish ships were more customizable.

All in all, a great tradewinds alternative but has its flaws. Would still recommend

Initially played this game because I had an Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley itch. The game was alright at first but had huge flaws that make it a bit boring the more you play.

The Good

+ Graphics similar to animal crossing. Can run on a potato.
+ Lots of community made furniture which are insanely detailed and good. You can access the community made furniture by visiting the mall and they revolve around a specific theme which changes every two weeks(?)
+ You get to assign villagers and build house around you

The Bad

- Gathering resources can be tedious.
- Not much to do after the first few hours.
- Making your own furniture is a bit boring as the resources you will need is staggering. much better to just go to the mall and get the community made ones fopr super cheap.

All in all, I was disappointed with the game because I expected it to be more like stardew valley. Hence, I found it a bit shallow and got boring real fast.

This gem of a rougelike has you placing traps and monsters against heroes in order to defend your dungeon. You play as a dungeon boss with different abilities and try to get promoted by killing as much heroes/veterans who enter your lair.

I played it because it was highly recommended when it came to humble bundle and can say that it was a pretty fun experience.

The Good

+ Gameplay premise is fun and unique (I haven't played games where you manage dungeon monsters and try to kill heroes)
+ LOTS of varieties in traps and monsters (they have their own stats and attack moves)
+ LOTS of varieties in the bosses and their abilities.

The Bad

- Leveling the bosses can feel a bit grindy at times

Recommend playing this if you want a different rougelike :)
