Early Access Review
~~[Genuinely a really good game]~~

Won't try to drain your time with some mega review but I do have quite a few words to say on this release so bear with me and I'll try to keep it in around 3-4 shot points

1. Gameplay
The gameplay of palworld doesn't reinvent the wheel, however it sure adds some glammer to it, mixing together the elements of your standard capture creature games and survival games, and it handles its execution fairly well.

2. Stability
Despite how most games released in early access recently being ridden with bugs palworld doesn't suffer from this nearly as much, sure their are bugs and exploits but the devs have bean quick to patch out the more serious ones as they pop-up, resulting in a game that while could use some more fixes its ultimately
a stable experience.

3. Accessibility
Palworld dose something that most devs should, compress their game.
Your hard drive, SSD or whatever you store your data on won't swear vengeance on you for downloading this, and that's ultimately because it's appropriate download size, so rest assured you can still have this game on your disk without deleting all of your other games.
And that doesn't even touch on the performance for lower end PC's, I have a old MSI laptop that I literally had to take the motherboard out to fix, hell I doubt half of it even works and yet palworld runs almost flawlessly, only 2 crashes and those were with a browser open and on a discord call alongside the base game

4. Future prospects
As you likely allredy know this game is in early access, meaning content updates are bound to come as the years do, the game holds a lot of promise, my only real suggestions would be to add handrails, pillers, and some sort of station to link bases wearhouses together, or atlest a transport from base A to base B system, alongside buffing the mid-tier flyers so you have other options besides trying to speedrun to the jetragon after a few hours.

TLDR= Game is a good product, won't break your bank both in hardware, storage space or cash, and holds a promising future

9/10

This game is sort of deeply flawed, from how easy it is to soft-lock yourself to the fights being so clunky its genuinely surprising, you would think the game would need to go back in the oven however it also has a weird oddly effective hook.

I could not in any sort of a way recommend this game even to MIA fans, however I wont say that I disliked it...entirely...just most of it, They did a good job at capturing the brutality of the abyss and really showed how lucky riko was to survive even with reg at her side, and also firmly beat into my skull that i would die before even seeing the goblets of giants if this ever existed.

Hell it did a good job at making me what to be retold a story i have watched over and over, however it was genuinely frustrating that parts of it were cut out in weird ways, like the campfire scene with reg and rink was condensed into a 5 second text box....hell i didn't even know it was that scene until riko shouted at reg to put out the campfire and hide its remains, that's how badly a lot of the story is cut up and scenes communicated were, this could have seriously stand to benefit from some cutscenes or hell even just making it less jarring so i don't get whiplash playing rikos story

Its a shame that their only going to be doing small bug fixes (according to a lot of the posts on here), because i could genuinely see myself returning if they ironed out some of the clunk and added golden city, i can tell that they tried to port the story to game form in a good way, and with a bit of tweaking they could, if they just added some DLC and made it so using anything besides guns in boss-fights was...actually viable...this could be worth the 50$ price tag!

Sadly it isn't, and likely never will be...we can dream though!
If your looking for a MIA fix, just re watch the show...this game will just piss you off

(PS- Despite all the cuts they did not remove any of the weird stuff in the story, probably the one thing most MIA fans what cut...seriously stringing people up naked inst a plot necessary thing, you could have replaced it with something less...gross... so uh.....yeah bring some eye-bleach for some of the text you will read)

Absolutely God awful.

Favorite game, will likely develop carpel tunnel from how much I click on clem wamabes to give them space aids before selling my liver for platinum.

Do not get, would recommend!

Overall i would say i enjoyed this!

The characters are nice, and the story is actually quite enjoyable!
Only minor complaint is that i could not hug pixie, witch undoubtedly is my favorite character, i know i should be mainly focusing on the protogen lady or the story of the main character, but im not going to lie i imagined pixie with a glados voice and substituted her lines with galdos ones and had a well good time laughing with my friends.

But jokes aside, good visual novel for 3$.

10/10 would endure much trauma with protogen lady again.

I loaded into creative mode with excitement in my eyes and hope in my heart.
I have heard so much about this game, from neebs, from my friends and now finally from myself.

as I popped into existence I looked around, the environment was nice and ran smooth on my laptop, I made my first car and drove it, it flipped and gave me a bad headache when I decided to improve my car craftsmen ship, I browsed deep into the block catalog until a stumbled upon a block I desired most

the mountable spud launcher

for the next several hours I worked on various turret and anti-air site designs, before installing mods and strapping actual missles to the daim thing

8/10- good game

Good game!
It's a little stale at the moment without mods but it does what it sets out to do well and considering that it's in alpha it's on a really good path!

Also, it made me genuinely question my morals as I killed hoards of people in CQC, its a really good game!
