Just like pretty much all Ubisoft games it's *okay*. If you've played one of them, you've played them all. Story is kinda boring, struggled to get invested in the characters, ♥♥♥♥ ai, no difficulty, lack of variation in missions, and immersion breaking forced events sucked. Gameplay is no longer that interesting with it being the 5th of now 6 mainline games, with really nothing changing at all since 3. On the plus side, the game runs excellently on my specs.

One thing that annoyed me was the scripted events which are a cool idea but broke easily when you took part in activities that it didn't want you to be doing when they occur. For example I decided to skydive to an outpost that I was tasked with destroying. As I approached, the game bugs out, takes me to a loading screen, and suddenly I'm locked in a cell? Another one I was warned of an 'ambush' by some bow and arrow wielding ninjas, I took some high ground on a roof so I could rain hell on them...but turns out it was scripted and I got hit by an unavoidable arrow that seemingly came out of thin air and cued me into yet another cutscene event. The game is at its best when its a sandbox but stuff like this pulls you away from those aspects.

If you want a mediocre game to kill some time and screw about in, give it a shot. Just shoot people and don't think too hard and some fun can be had.

Controller wouldn't work. Got stuck in the graphics options menu because the cursor couldn't reach the back button. Yeah it might be a classic but this port is garbage.

I didn't expect $5 and just over 4 hours to gift me with one of my favourite games. Rarely can a game or any method of entertainment effectively utilise music, art and writing in unison to communicate a compelling story that evokes so much emotion. Colin's story is tragic, yet beautiful, and carries significant depth that is further built upon in 'A Bird Story' (I recommend playing this after Finding Paradise) and through further interpretation. The game explores loneliness, fantasy, and the implications of a world where your wishes can be fulfilled and your regrets can be corrected.

This game shows that you don't need words to tell a good story. Personally, I think you should play A Bird Story after finishing Finding Paradise despite it releasing prior. I believe it serves better as an elaboration of the patient in the main line game rather than an introduction to him. Playing this game first I think would spoil too much of the character's childhood and will defeat some of the mystery in Finding Paradise.

I'm closing in on 1000 hours and everyone I play with still says i'm still ♥♥♥♥. 10/10 would be called ♥♥♥♥ again

Decided it was finally time to buy New Vegas during the steam sale after the constant "this game is amazing" consensus surrounding this game. Before playing, I was thinking this is more of a "back in the day the game was excellent" but hell was I wrong. This game showed me what modern games should have followed and only after a few hours it resides as one of my favourite games. This game is 8 years old and It not only ♥♥♥♥♥ all over Fallout 4, but pretty much all Bethesda RPG's released in recent years. The effort put into this game clearly shows a change in the industry from where developers would make a quality game to gain profits and the current change to developers milking a popular title from its former glory.

This game is fantastic, with its only faults due to its age, nethertheless I can whole heartedly recommend this game to anyone that has interest in single player RPG's.
