I was using an M2 OS device to play on Global Offensive, but CS2 has dropped all support for OSX it seems and I don't think we're going to get that back. I finally bit the bullet and purchased a gaming computer specifically to play CS2, as my work will require this in the future and I can't use my mac to do it anymore. After purchasing this computer I was able to play in the beta, which was awful but it's a beta so it was okay. Why they released the game in this state is beyond me. Valve is a billion dollar company so it feels inexcusable. The game is released and has had a few updates, but mine launches into a black screen since cs2's third public update or so. I can get it to work rarely. In it's current state for me; it's unplayable.

When it does work it it feels like peekers advantage is though the roof. You'll be behind a wall after a quick look on any site and once you've already taken cover behind a wall then the headshot, or awp shot, comes through. There have been multiple cases where the enemy was NOT on my screen in the slightest. Not a single pixel was visible to me or the teammates spectating. Imagine the worst backtrack you've come across in Global Offensive, it's that to a tee.

I'd love to give this game a positive rating but between having to reinstall drivers, verify game files and in some cases reinstalling the game, the way in which it was released has left me very upset. I feel that the developers knew well enough that the game would not succeed if global offensive was up. It would have had vastly less players once released. Basically hiding and removing the old game was their only way of forcing the community into the new, seemingly mostly unfinished, game of cs2.

Update 10/24/2023:
Still unplayable.

Update 02/15/2024:
Playable now, but doesn't feel like 'home' as csgo did :(

Early Access Review
I received this as a gift from a friend and I am in love with it. There are a few issues and notable problems I've encountered, but overall the game is great for having gone into early access.

Gameplay Mechanics
- Getting downed right after being picked up
I feel a cooldown system of even just 1 second would be massively beneficial. Adrenaline is a perfect reasoning for this being added.
- Severed body parts get lost in snow
Chopping a head or limb off will cover it in snow; making the limbs not able to be picked up. Heads will fully disappear.
- Carrying a body and placing it back down caused me to go through the map
Seems rare but my only escape was to drown myself and respawn.
- Inventory system
I truly wish I could separate the long press / tap of the inventory system to allow easier access to my backpack or my full inventory.

I'll edit with more things as I see fit. These are my top issues at this time.

As I sit here contemplating the intricacies of the gameplay mechanics in this particular title, I cannot help but marvel at the sublime complexity of the systems at play. From the subtle interplay of AI behaviors to the delicate balance of resource management, every element of the game seems designed to confound and challenge even the most seasoned of players.

Yet, despite the steep learning curve and occasional frustration, I find myself inexorably drawn back to this virtual world, compelled by some mysterious force to continue my quest for mastery. Perhaps it is the thrill of victory, the satisfaction of outmaneuvering my opponents and emerging victorious. Or perhaps it is simply the joy of exploration, the endless possibilities that lie within this digital realm.

Whatever the reason, I am grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in this experience, and to push the boundaries of my own abilities. So here's to another day of gameplay, another chance to hone my skills and unlock the secrets of this fascinating world. May the odds be ever in your favor, my friends.

Ahem, allow me to express my thoroughly labyrinthine thoughts on the game that is cookie clicker. As I venture forth in my extensive review of this interactive experience, I am left with a peculiar sense of befuddlement and intrigue.

At first glance, one might mistake cookie clicker for a mundane pastime, a mere clicking exercise for the idle-minded. But lo and behold, it is not merely a game of clicking, but a game of strategy, a game of numbers, and a game of fate.

The complexity of this game is unparalleled. One must navigate the intricacies of the game's numerous upgrades, each with its own unique set of costs and benefits. One must also keep track of their cookie count, ever increasing as they click away, and manage their cookie production, ensuring a steady stream of cookies to fuel their click-per-second endeavors.

And yet, amidst all the complexity, there is a certain primal satisfaction in the act of clicking, a sense of accomplishment as one's cookie count skyrockets to unfathomable heights. It is this dichotomy between complexity and simplicity that makes cookie clicker so alluring.

But, dear reader, I must caution you - do not be deceived by its seeming simplicity. cookie clicker is a game that will consume your thoughts, your dreams, your very soul. You will find yourself clicking away at all hours of the day and night, your mind consumed with thoughts of golden cookies and cookie chains.

In conclusion, cookie clicker is a game that defies explanation, a game that must be experienced to be understood. It is a game of great depth and complexity, and yet it is also a game of mindless clicking. It is a game that will both delight and torment you, a game that will leave you questioning your very existence. Play at your own risk.

If it had cloud saves it would be far better. Progress remains on the device.

This is by far one of the coolest ideas for a game I've seen. It's like what little kid me would have wanted to have. Definitely worth the purchase.

edit: still enjoying it.

This is one of my most fond games in memory. My brother and I would waste hours playing this with absolutely no goal in mind other than to catch a bigger fish than each other. I really do miss the simpler days of gaming and the magic that came with not understanding a single bit of what was going on other than the flashing lights and awesome sound effects this game would provide. Seeing as this was on steam I bought it again this last sale and I was not disappointed. I was able to see the lure I would always use without fail and the memories came rushing back. Thank you to whoever decided to publish this game on this platform.
