I don’t really understand why the comments were so harsh. I picked MindsEye up in the sale for around £30 and went in with reasonable expectations. While it’s not perfect, it explores some genuinely interesting themes—especially around how much power tech overlords could realistically hold, and the idea of humans increasingly integrating with AI rather than just using it as a tool.

The story raises questions about control, dependency, and where the line between human and machine starts to blur, which I found more engaging than I expected. It may not reinvent the genre, but for the price I paid, it delivered enough depth and ideas to make it worth playing. They graphics do need tweeking for bazzite it has some strange blurring issues.

But over all well worth it. Im not sure why the reviews where so harsh. Most of the bugs have been fixed.
