Great game. It might be a bit too streamlined from other Tales of games, but it is a great starting entry for new players.

If you like Conker's bad fury day humor and lite souls like combat you will love this game.
After trying the demo a few months back I just knew this game was gonna be awesome.
The full game managed to exceed my expectations.

For starters, surely a 2021 Metroidvania of The Year.

Starts fairly easy and simple and eases you into some crazy Boss fights near the end.
Every enemy and Boss have a very well-telegraphed move set that can either be avoided or deflected completely.
Exploration is rewarding and challenging at some points of the game but still very smooth and tight.
Music is I think one of the best highlights in this game, especially the Boss themes.

It is not an easy game, but if you persevere it is extremely good and if you are a fan of Hollow Knight or Souls games, you will like this.

Very fun and addictive Action roguelike.
It has one of the best if not the best progression system.
The gameplay is tight.
The characters are interesting and very well written.
The game will constantly keep pushing you to play to find out what the story is about.

As the game description says.
This is a 16-bit action-RPG that feels like a Wonder Boy game.
It is decently long and the difficulty can be managed by just grinding and leveling up if the game feels hard.
But to be honest, it has the right difficulty curve.
The controls are tight and very responsive.
The music and graphic really take you back to the 90's era of games.

This game really hits that nostalgic vibe.
A definite recommend for anyone missing the good old 16-bit 90's Action-RPG games.
